I suggest you try a few of them and then choose. Each one has its own particularities, You already have a good list above to do that check; those are the ones I would recommend as well.

All sites have MTTs, so its largely a question of, what you are looking for. If you want a large selection, then GG Poker is number one these days, and PokerStars is number two. But smaller sites can also have advantages like softer competition or a higher chance of finding games with an overlay. It also matter, if its important for you to be able to use a tracker, what time of day you play, and how you like the software of the different sites.

Good afternoon everyone.

Whenever we ask a poker-related question, it is very likely that the word "depends" will be present in the answer.

What is the best site to play on?

Answer: it depends on what each player is looking for, their skill level, their goals, and even whether they are a profitable player or not.

I started playing poker in 2018, and during this period, I learned that it is very important to play on several different sites. That is how I discovered which platforms I am most profitable on. This varies from player to player.

There may be sites where you find it easier to make a profit, and the only way to discover that is by playing and gaining experience.

Regarding the field, the larger the number of players in tournaments, the greater the variance tends to be.

The issue with this approach is, you need to play a lot, before any difference in win rate between sites is a result of anything other than just random variance. And for that reason I prefer to look at other things like game quality and net rake. If you are a winning player and can find good games with a reasonable rake, then you should be able to beat those, and it does not really matter, what your results were over the last 1.000 or even 5.000 tournaments.

Take my graph on ACR Poker as an example. After the first 5.000 tournaments I was not much more than break-even on the tables, which was far worse than my results on PokerStars or 888 Poker. But I still continued to play there mainly for the SnG leaderboard (which the sharkscope graph does not include), and now after another 1.000 tournaments and a massive sunrun my results look completely different.

If you're used to making notes on people WPT will be infuriating for you. That's honestly my least favorite place to play for that reason. I also think their software is not efficient, isn't customizable enough and has annoying security. If there weren't frequent freerolls there I would uninstall it for sure. Their android App required full read/write perms for the entire device so it can view and delete ANYTHING off of your phone. I haven't seen another poker app ask for this before so I don't trust it. Very invasive.

ACR and ignition both have botting issues so be aware of that. I also think ACR software is hideous and slow but the bots are a bigger concern.

Stars and GG have the biggest market shares and have good schedules. Neither are amazing but both are solid.

Coinpoker is the up and comer that seems popular. Their software is invasive but well made, feature rich and highly customizable. On the negative side I don't think I've seen a single overlay there. Their tourney schedule is definitely sparse compared to what I'm used to elsewhere.

Stake is the best browser based room I've found and think is good for what it is. They don't run much above $50 on their regular schedule but they have a fair amount of mid stakes buyins. The player pool is easily the most punty I've seen which is great if you're willing to take the variance.

For the $5–$50 MTT range, my favorite site in 2026 would probably be whichever offers the best mix of field size, tournament guarantees, software stability, and player pool softness.

Personally, I'd lean toward sites with a strong recreational player base rather than just the biggest guarantees. A slightly smaller tournament with softer competition can be much more profitable in the long run than battling tough regulars every day.

For me it's WPT Global

GGPoker will always be the best option for playing tournaments, but I recommend that you try several poker rooms yourself and stick with the one you feel most comfortable with.
