GG Adding / Shifting to Freerolls ???

Irel is just in the week-long freeroll, and I have very big words about the fairness of this event...

First of all, the 9-player starting table had 6 offside 🤔 (like in a daytime freeroll) I highly doubt that half of the players forgot to play it in a tournament with a prize pool of 100,000...

I went from 10,000 to 32,000
The capture was crazy on the flora collecting the streets, flash... 60-70 percent of the hands were mine. In about 70-80 hands, there was QC twice, and there were many combinations of AK, AQ, AJ, and so on. I even collected 6.4 from the street.

And that's it...

They took me to another table...
Move after move.
Out of 50-60 hands, NOT A SINGLE WIN!!!!!.
It was just so obvious that it was ridiculous
JQ I've got a QJ7 flop, raise, reraise 77 against me, and stuff like that... It's a nightmare 🤦🏻‍♂️, sorry I didn't take a screenshot.

I re-entered twice. One was a ridiculous donking while on a big stack but was still very grateful for the extra tickets (had 4 - 3 from playing the hands).

Had 25bb with around 6,000 left. Got coolered with QQ < KK :(

What wasn't fair about it?
That you had sitters on your first table and were fortunate enough to triple your stack? Or was it that you didn't know how to fold once you got moved?

Why is it so hard to believe that so many players would be sitting out of this tourney? And fwiw, this is a GOOD thing for those who chose to play it.

It is not easy to get a good position in these new freerolls. Should we get our hands on as many weekly freeroll tickets to have a better chance perhaps? What other freerolls do you enjoy at GG? I personally like the cardschat ones, as well as the new eu freerolls.

How do you get in the EU freerolls?
I thought you need to signup to GG via the affiliate...

And yes we should get our hands on as many tickets as possible.
We can collect 12 throughout the week.
I wanna have a big pile of weekly tickets for the upcoming games ^^

For EU freerolls contact their site as mentioned in the info they will either give you latest pass or give you the telegram link to join for password giveaway. Ok I will do my best for the upcoming weekly freeroll, best of luck to you too!

It's really a great idea by GG to keep players on their site longer every day and away from other sites like 888. This way, as a German player, you now have to decide on Saturdays whether to play on 888 or on GG, since as a German, you are not allowed to be on two sites simultaneously. The 100K Weekly is quite interesting since it already gives $10 starting from place 4500, even though there will be 30,000 entries every Saturday.

Yes, probably. Currently, I'm also only Bronze and can't participate in that many freerolls, and yesterday I did quite well in the Weekly Freeroll on GG and have to use the C$ I won on this site. Quite clever of GG to issue them as C$, thus forcing players to play on the site.

Lots of fish in the cashgames. Im sure you will be able to turn that into real cash in no time.

I would recommend playing half an hour and then stand up to see how much got converted

Yeah, I think this is the best and most sustainable way that freerolls should work! As poker players, we should want to play more poker anyway, and not just take the money out of the site every time we win!
LIke I don't play much cash, but winning a decent amount of C$ would hep me focus on this area!

For the sites, they will remove money freerolls if they don't see a return from them, just like pokerstars did!!
So for me C$, T$, tickets are all good!!

The tickets mean you maybe get to play above usual levels too, which is more fun!!

Hopefully this weekly last a long time and we can all hit the dizzy heights you reached! REally impressive BTW, very well played and congratulations

Hey @G0930 how do you get multiple daily tickets per day? I'm just getting 1 for my AA?

One other thought is that as this weekly freeroll gets more popular, maybe there won't be any spare space for re entries?? I noticed it was capped at 30k!! Which is great if you get in, amazing odds to get min cash at least!!

It depends. You often lose hands where you think you're good because you don't really have anything to do with the hand. At least, that's how it is for me sometimes. QJ isn't really a strong hand, and it's unplayable for a preflop raise. But you can sometimes be tempted, especially when they suited.

You also get a ticket by playing 100 cashgame hands. And you could deposit and you get 3
Yes capped at 30k could come in handy👌🏼

I noticed it's not as easy getting a ticket by simply registering last minute anymore.
Maybe it's because more players on sunday but we will see how it goes throughout the week.

I registered in the last 10 min and still had to play almost an hour until the Tickets

Yeah I've been thinking this, maybe a new strat may be kind of opposite, play from beginning, hope for lots of sitouts to help build the stack, then maybe sitout yourself if you get enough chips?! I'll probs test this week

Way less C$, more tickets, and min prizes are tickets! Less places paid, so a tougher tourney now too!! 1/10 get paid rather than 0ver 1/6.5 ish. Not really as good, but it is another way to get into the GG Masters
