A bit unreasonable to make such a drama for a 25 cent tournament. They will have a good laugh @GGsecurity i guess.

And we as a poker community often wonder why customer support has gotten so poor on most sites. What can we expect when they have penny players contacting them because someone else got lucky. WTF!?!??!
If there was such a thing as a 'doom switch', I think the sites should be entitled to activate against nonsense like this. "He's cheating because he won... blah blah blah... "
"Guys, should we doom switch this guy for realzz?"
"YES! & re-route his future emails to Pokerstars support, lol"

With all due respect, brother, did you even read the post? I mentioned that I played several $1 bounty tournaments—around 100 of them—and that these kinds of things were happening regularly. I’m not talking about some $0.25 tournament; I’m talking about 100 $1 bounty hunter tournaments. If you’re getting cheated in those, just imagine what it’s like in a $5.50 "Ocean" tournament. Also, I mentioned that about a year ago—or maybe longer—they banned some cheaters but then pardoned them. Ever since then, I’ve hit a long string of bad luck; that’s no coincidence...

So, I previously lost to this Moroccan player—I had a pair of aces against his offsuit A-7, and he hit two sevens on the turn and the river. I took a photo, but unfortunately, it didn’t save. Now, five hands later, he’s won again—it feels completely scripted. Every time he won, he’d make a gesture and laugh. In my opinion, this guy is a cheater. My mistake was not reporting him during the game, but I’m going to take care of that right now.

I think I’m going to start filming the tournaments with a camera—then we’ll see who’s the paranoid one. And, to wrap things up, I’m going to start reporting suspicious players. In three years, I’ve never once had any doubts about a player here, but this is different. We’re talking about players who win 7, 10, or 20 hands in a row.

Besides, who do you think I’m sharing this for? For the people in the community—because I care about them. It sounds like you feel like I’m accusing *you*—no, brother, I’m just giving a heads-up to my fellow members here at CardsChat.

You’re completely right about the platform's security issues; it's a proven fact. Moving to trusted private communities like CardsChat is the best way to ensure you're playing against real, honest players.

Thanks, brother

I understand your frustration after months of bad beats and disappointing results. Poker involves variance, but chasing losses can make things worse. Sticking to freerolls and avoiding paid games for now sounds like a smart decision.

This is a super valuable contribution to the forum. Thanks to you, we now all know, that if we play $1 tournaments on the worlds largest poker site, then we will get cheated, because its all just a scam! I simply do not know, what I would have done without this valuable insight.

100 tournaments. You are a real grinder then....

You must be one of their most valuable customers paying $8 in rake over those 100 tournaments.

Yeah those $5.5 games most be absolutely horrible. I guess, thats why so many people keep playing there.

They were not cheaters. They were high stakes cash players, who had been banned for "bum hunting", or some will say for simply winning to much. Bum hunting means selecting weak opponents and avoiding strong opponents. This is not against the rules of poker, so its not cheating.

Yeah everything in this world is connected. Nothing is a coincidence, and everyone are conspiring to get you 🤣🤣🤣

I cant wait to see those films. But I think, you made them already, when you were playing on another site?

Why don't you live stream it on Twitch? I'm sure you could get many followers. I might even sub to it.
Just think... it could be an added revenue for your poker game... sort of like an insurance (or compensation) for bad beats.

Send us the link to the stream!

If these kinds of things only happened on GGPoker, that would be great!! It’s not about how much you get beaten down, it’s about how much you get back up.

I always try to understand every perspective. I’m done making fun of people who claim something is wrong with GGPoker; when many voices are saying the same thing, we need to hear their side, too. My conclusion—after observing many incidents and so on—is that it’s not GGPoker that’s manipulative, in the wrong, or fraudulent; rather, it’s the environment itself. Strange things happen there, but because the environment is rife with "bad beats," it creates the impression of fraud. In other words, blame the players, not the platform.

I have to respectfully disagree with that. Since the birth of online poker 25 years ago, there have been numerous claims, that whatever site is rigged. When PokerStars was the most popular site, they received the largest number of complaints for being "rigged", and some people called them "JokerStars", because the runouts were always crazy etc.

And there are logical reasons, why people might think so, like the pace of online poker, selective memory and confirmation bias. And without evidence or a single known case for the past 25 years, its just a conspiracy theory, and a conspiracy theory does not become more valid, just because many people believe in it. If you are really interested, there is plenty of "their side" in this thread dating back 20 years.

I explained that the problem isn't the platform itself, but rather the massive number of players gathered in the same space—and, of course, the accumulation of various "bad beats"—much like it was back in the day with PokerStars, which served as the "GGPoker" of the 2010s. But I’m not going to try to change anyone’s opinion anymore.

First of all, please read everything before commenting; I’ll lay it all out below. For six months, I’ve been actively playing freerolls on GGPoker, yet I can’t seem to make a single final table. It’s always the same story: when the field narrows to 40 players, the river card always kills my hand. It’s the same with Spin & Go games—even with a 3–5% chance of winning, the river card hits for my opponent, often multiple times. This represents the last $15 I lost trying to recoup money lost in other tournaments, since Spins seemed like an easy way out. I tried playing plenty of $1 Bounty Hunter tournaments, but the result was the same: I never manage more than 4 or 5 knockouts, and to achieve even that, I have to burn through at least 3 or 4 $1 buy-ins—I never get a good start. All of this started happening after they reinstated players who had previously been banned for cheating; GGPoker has become awful again. From now on, I’m sticking strictly to CardsChat tournaments and the daily freeroll, and I refuse to participate in tournaments from any other communities.
It’s totally up to you what and how you play.
But how do you know that banned players are back?

I also play a lot of $1 tournaments. I like the daily turbo or the Classic more than the bounty hunter. When I play a bounty hunter I play mostly the $3.20 or the $5.40 there I can more play my own game and mostly into the money stage.

spin and go are my least favorite I’m better in the mystery bounty knock out.

But yeah as i said, play your own game and do what you think is good for you.

Thing is, everyone complains about GG, but at the end, someone has to win the hands or the tournaments. So it can't be rigged for all, can be?

I was playing in a big tournament (the $50 Ocean). The board was low, featuring a pair and three cards in a sequence, and the pot held less than half of the starting stack. After the river card was dealt, I decided to bluff with my A9. There were four of us in the hand, and since I was the last to act, I moved all-in—at that point, I had twice the starting stack. No one called my all-in—except for the very last player, who held AQ. He beat me without actually having a made hand (he just had two high cards). It made me wonder: "Can he see my cards?" The board was 4-4-5-6-J; he held AQ and managed to beat my A9 by calling my massive all-in on the river, even though his stack was similar in size to mine.

But I’ve also done quite well a few times on GGPoker!

And what were you repping in that spot with how you'd played the hand?
Your play obviously made him wonder "WTF is he repping there? ... makes no sense. I callzzzz!! 'BOOM!' " "LFG - - VAMOS"

GG allowed previously banned players who did minor stuff against TOS or were banned for bumunting to comeback if they apply.

He probably read somewhere about it and misunderstood the topic thinking his freerolls and micro games are now full with all kinds of cheats that were allowed back 😅

I was runner up in the Platinum tonight for the third time this year. I've also had some terrible luck on many sites. That's poker, that's life.
