First of all, please read everything before commenting; I’ll lay it all out below. For six months, I’ve been actively playing freerolls on GGPoker, yet I can’t seem to make a single final table. It’s always the same story: when the field narrows to 40 players, the river card always kills my hand. It’s the same with Spin & Go games—even with a 3–5% chance of winning, the river card hits for my opponent, often multiple times. This represents the last $15 I lost trying to recoup money lost in other tournaments, since Spins seemed like an easy way out. I tried playing plenty of $1 Bounty Hunter tournaments, but the result was the same: I never manage more than 4 or 5 knockouts, and to achieve even that, I have to burn through at least 3 or 4 $1 buy-ins—I never get a good start. All of this started happening after they reinstated players who had previously been banned for cheating; GGPoker has become awful again. From now on, I’m sticking strictly to CardsChat tournaments and the daily freeroll, and I refuse to participate in tournaments from any other communities.

Maybe you should try JokerStars instead? They always wait until the river, before they get you.

You should ask yourself what your doing wrong when you always struggle at some point rather than blaming a pokeroom 🤦🏼‍♂️
I highly advice to look into Cardchat's 30 days poker course.
Im sure it will help to eliminate some flaws 👍🏼

These players had not been banned for cheating but mostly for bum hunting, which mean selecting weak opponents and avoiding strong opponents in cash games or SnGs. They are high stakes cash players, so not quite sure, how their return would have changed the field in your $1 Bounty Hunters?

CC games are soft. Perhaps this is what you've grown accustomed to? There's a large % of the players who don't seem to ever improve much.
I wish I could blame it on the site(s), but I'm aware that my own MTT game still needs A LOT of work.

You're mistaken; I've probably played about 50, and yesterday was the closest I came to placing (finishing in the top 5).

Yes, I have plenty to polish, but you didn't pay attention to the details of what I wrote: I’m telling you that across 120 spins—in about 50 of those games—the river failed me or I lost despite making the right call on the initial hand. In situations where I was the chip leader and the runner-up was very short-stacked, they won three all-ins against me—with odds of just 3% to 7%—three times in a row. We aren't talking about a skill issue or standard variance here... because that would imply an absolutely absurd level of variance. Another example in my favor: I’ve won $1 tournaments twice on WPT Global—one with an $80 prize and another with $150. The screenshots are in the "goals" section or somewhere similar; I can dig them up if you want. And I didn't win by being an elite player, but simply by making the right calls. My point is, I’ve won tournaments on many different sites (WPT, 888poker, CoinPoker), but never on GG—not a single one! Not even the $0.25 event—because I always run bad there (the river fails me in a blatant way).

If you dont like or trust a particular site, then dont play there. Simple as that. No need to make all this noise about it, especially when you are playing for completely insignificant money like $0.25 or $1 at a time. You make yourself look like yet another tin foil hat🙂

"I think this is a very rare case. You should try playing on different sites at the exact same hours. If you run into the same issue, then DEFINITELY the poker sites are out to get YOU personally, scheming to take down your massive 50 bucks that you fought tooth and nail for in freerolls and micros.
So, if that's really what's happening and you're ALWAYS losing on the river, you should probably open a full-scale legal case against every site you play on. It’s entirely possible that all these rooms are running a massive conspiracy against your account, along with every other flat-earther out there."

120 Spins are absolutely nothing and when u play enough freroll and micro tournaments u will get lucky at some point and in certain cases even win-even when u play suboptimal overall.

Saturday I won a freeroll and like you I play several freerolls a day on different platforms and I know how frustrating these losses on the river are. I've lost a lot of tournaments this way, but I'm still persistent. I started playing again 3 weeks ago and I already have a bankroll of $70 on ggpoker, so keep persisting my friend, eventually the cards will help you too.

So, I previously lost to this Moroccan player—I had a pair of aces against his offsuit A-7, and he hit two sevens on the turn and the river. I took a photo, but unfortunately, it didn’t save. Now, five hands later, he’s won again—it feels completely scripted. Every time he won, he’d make a gesture and laugh. In my opinion, this guy is a cheater. My mistake was not reporting him during the game, but I’m going to take care of that right now.

This is the point I’m trying to make to you all when explaining why we never seem to reach the final table in a freeroll—just imagine how you’d feel if this kind of situation kept happening to you regularly in a tournament with an entry fee. This is exactly what happened to me while trying to play in $1 "Bounty Hunter" tournaments.

What are you reporting him for exactly? For sucking out on you twice? Or maybe for laughing at you?

I get that you're a bit pissed, but these things do just happen.....I'm running terribly at GG in paid games too, but I can do well in T$ games.....it feels off, bit the reality is that sometimes you run well on one site or another, or one type of game of another. Its just normal, and kind of self perpetuates, as the more ot happens the more we look for the pattern, and therefore we see it!

The liklihood is, you just play a bot tight or passive, so get to a decent position quite often, only to lose a flip finally. It takes a extraordinary amount of luck to go deep or even win a tournament, even if you somehow get it in good every single time

He won about 7 hands in a row—2 against me and 5 against others—while calling with bad hands.

A bit unreasonable to make such a drama for a 25 cent tournament. They will have a good laugh @GGsecurity i guess.

IMO, it's just the variance that comes with poker. I've been grinding low stakes tourneys on wpt for over a month and only managed to win about three tourneys while I only got ITM in a few others, total winnings totalling $500 which was a net loss for me, however I have made close to $200 on ggpoker in just playing within a week and I've been making deeper consistent runs on gg

Is he dealing the cards?
The flop is not ideal for AA... and yet it looks like that is when all the chips went into the middle..
