What is the one thing you would most want to see a poker room do to make players happier with the room? Would it be size of the room? Variety of games offered? Something about the table/play experience? Amount/method of rake? Types of promotions? Enhancement to customer service? Something else?
Rake free poker is the dream.
For my dream poker room I need look no farther than The Rivers Casino in Portsmouth Va.
The room is large and open with plenty of distance between the tables and the "Floor" is always out on the floor.
They have the cash games and tournaments separated and if you are in a tournament the monitors are placed where you can see them easily.
I have been to other places and the tables are packed in the space like sardines in a can.
If you need the floor he/she is lounging in the back room and has to be summoned causing a delay which affects the flow of the game.
Give me plenty of elbow room, a monitor where I can keep up with the status of the game and quick officiating and there you go.

Certainly, a large, well-decorated space that provides comfort and security to its users.nabmom said:
Yes, with a wide variety of games and flexible schedules.nabmom said:
Promotions are important for a poker club to attract the maximum number of customers.nabmom said:
That’s also relevant; if I receive good service, I’ll definitely come back to play.nabmom said:
Some extremely strict and strong AI type security that immediately filter out wife and husband teams, colleagues, etc to prevent cheating and multiaccounting. That would be definitely a place i would support, deposit and play.
1) Reasonable rake.
2) Best security and latest security/full transparency.
3) Easy and fast deposits/withdraws.
4) Truly global player pool.
5) Regulated/licensed.
6) Good customer support/service.
That pretty much covers all the most important things when dealing with real money.
Cheers!!!

I would like to see etiquette enforced as a condition to play. Make a glassed room with one table and call it the A..hole room for those who want to display their personality. The rest of the polite players can laugh at the fools in the room.
