Germany. After 12 hours I was miraculously able to log in and play again.

Reinstalled, changed PW, nothing helps. I can no longer log in.

Often I've needed to disable my anti-virus when opening 888poker. Maybe that'll help.

That's why it's crashing as you have multiable sites and lots of other apps running at the same time as well.

It happens when 888 is the only site I'm running... and when I am running with 3 or 4 sites, none of the others crash, only 888

I've been trying to verificate my account from quite some time now. I don't have bills on my name but I have a certifed doccument that proves my residencie. I don't know what else can be done to verificate my account so I can finally play on 888.

There seems to be a coding problem with your link " sign up here: 888 Poker" , DNS can't find the link.

The most obvious thing I see is a misspelling. In the link after Cardschat the letter"n" is added to the .com making it .comn

fwiw @888Rep while I was watching another of the 888 twitch streamers yesterday, the 888 site froze on them while they were on a final table & streaming. It took them a few tries to get it going and at one point they were considering shutting down the stream and attempting to play it out on their cellphone. They weren't playing on other sites at the time as it was the end of their day.

For what its worth your new table layout sucks. The new animations are cool, but please bring back position/players remaining and the chat. Is there any way to go back to the old table? Thanks!

Ok gramps. Good luck with sorting this out. Maybe your observation about the streamers can help 888support figure this one out.

Guess what... they have done an update and all problems have been resolved! Not only that, even when running 6 tables on 'SNAP', with PT4, it's only using 5% of my CPU and I've had ZERO crashes!
Not only that, my friend (who streams for 888) has improved as well. He's also currently taking in some more suggestions to give to the 888 team in hopes of making more improvements to the site.
Guessing I wasn't the only one who was struggling on 888.

@888Rep this recent update has made a MASSIVE improvement to the site for me. I will now be able to include a bunch of tables from 888 when playing MTT's. Pass it on to the powers that be... this update has been GREAT! & Thank-you!

Thats great to hear. When I played on 888, I also suffered frequent crashes with the only solution being to close and restart the poker client. Which of course always led to hands being forcefully folded, before I was able to rejoin the action. This is one of the reasons, I moved on to other sites, but if this problems is now fixed, I might give 888 another try

I had this last night. The already irritating and unnecessary hourly pop up caused all my clients to freeze. Fortunately, I'd not long busted my last tournament on 888, so was able to force close the client and everything else sprang back into life.

And I have such a problem that when I uploaded documents, they only confirmed my age and they can't confirm my address. I already sent them a lot of documents and they can't confirm it I don't know what to do for me. I've been struggling with them to verify my address for more than two months, the only thing I suspect is that maybe a problem because my city changed its name I'll write to them again and again to get what they want

It just pisses me off. The site closes spontaneously all the time and I have to log in again. If I do that, I have a 5-minute blocking period due to German regulations.
Means I watch and my blinds are posted. Happened to me just now at two final tables.
I'm really annoyed.

Hi, software update doesn't work, it tries loading some page that gives and error. Uninstalling runs into the same issue.

Due to German regulations, I am allowed to play a maximum of 4 tables. This means either 4 on 888, or for example 2 on Stars and 2 on 888.
If I play 2 tournaments on Stars and these are finished and those on 888 are still running, I am not allowed to close Stars. Otherwise I get a five-minute ban on 888.
A pop-up appears on 888 with the message that I have just closed another client and as a punishment I have to endure a so-called 5-minute cool-down phase. I can see the tables and my blinds and antes are posted in the tournament, but I can't act.

The same thing also happens to me when I only play on 888. I have just played 3 tournaments and one cash game table on 888.
Suddenly all three tournament tables freeze, only the cash game table continues to run normally.
Now I think it can happen. Keep playing the cash game table and wait. After a few minutes, the tournament tables are still frozen. I then closed the client and restarted it.
Surprise, the tournament tables were running again, but I received the infamous pop-up that I had just closed another client and was therefore rewarded with a 5-minute cool-down phase and had to watch my blinds and antes being posted again without being able to do anything.
But that's not true!!!!!!!
I just restarted 888 and did not close another client!!!!!

What else can I do but wait the five minutes?
After the waiting time, I play a hand and all three tables freeze again.
The same game starts all over again, I close 888 and am again rewarded with a waiting time of 5 minutes during which I cannot do anything.
Of course with the wonderful pop-up that I have just closed a third-party client and am therefore blocked for 5 minutes.

This is definitely a mistake for which I hold 888 responsible, as I never closed a third-party client, but only had to restart the opened and played 888 client due to the difficulties described.

I think this crap only affects German players due to these stupid German regulations.

Perhaps one of my fellow countrymen has had the same experience.
And to prevent this from happening, my PC is extremely powerful and last generation.
If I play on Stars 4 tables, this never happens to me.

Maybe the rep can look into this problem.

In any case, I am extremely annoyed and am seriously considering whether I should even play tournaments on 888 anymore.
It's not the first time this has happened to me and especially when you have a deep run and the blinds and antes are high and the effective stakes are low, it's particularly painful.

Played yesterday the first time for a few hours on the new pc version.

I agree with others its a a step in the right direction but we are not there just yet:

- i noticed u got rid of that annoying "beep beep" noise when time is running out and the timebank is about to start. Now its only a noise when its our turn. This is fine but i think we still need some noise to remember us a second time that its our turn. Something like the sound before but less annoying.

- give people the option to turn off avatars and/or let people upload their own avatar.

-give people the option to turn off winner animation

- there was a sitout bug when i was multitabling. Many playars would show as "sitout" were actually on the table and playing (myself for example). Annoying as hell. Please get rid of that bug asap.

- Give people the option to choose their seat on the table.

Since the update, every time I start the Client a Clogfile appears on my desktop.

You are one of the lucky people that are able to play on 2 regulated sites the same time.

For me and, I think, the most others it works the way one site 4 tables max.,
no other site lets you register to a tournament or cash game table if there are perhaps 2 “free” tables slots.

One more thing to mention, I was also not able to rail someone on GG when I had opened 888 and closed that before.

The LUGAS System, with it's not all times immediately removing the log-in flag, is a pain in the ass.
Even the 5 minutes block is not working correct, the system is laggy with a not acceptable delay (more than 5 minutes).
This may be a problem on both sides,
the poker room if their systems are under heavy stress to send out the log-out response to the LUGAS System,
or the LUGAS system side if it is not equipped in the right scaling for accepting large enough numbers of log-in/log out flags.

The rooms are forced to obey the “Big Brother” systems, no matter how faulty they have been implemented.

My clear rule there, I obey big brother and play only on one site,
log out on this site, and wait way more than 5 minutes before switching to another site.

Se what you can change and change it, see what is not in your powers to change it and accept it. (Sad but wise)

No Clogfile here, even with the option to see hidden and restricted files(a Windows explorer option) enabled.

Is it possible to disable that or at least designate it to be created somewhere in the 888poker folders instead of the desktop?
