Nice that you are hiring new poker players for the 888 poker team; but you could also hire a couple of new technicians to help with the bugs in the software.

If you're one of the biggest poker room then it shouldn't be a problem having a software that is running smooth and promos that deliver the goods.

Don't get me wrong; I like playing at 888 Poker and participating in the promos; but sometime the bugs are getting in the way of having a pleasurable experience.

One more thing; I sent a request directly to 888 support and I got an answer by a representative that my email was transferred to the relevant department.

It said I would have an answer within 72 hours. I mean 72 hours is way too long for support to answer. You must hear that more than 1000 times per year and do nothing about it.

The promotion will be almost over in 72 hours; so in a way you solve the problem by not solving it in time.

Yo..I came in here to find out what's up with the super hero promotion..in my client i have not seen this strike the chip thing yet, I had no idea it existed until I got caught up with this thread.
And the rep like totally ignores the questions...
Do you guys still have the scratch card challenges, I do and been scratching.
I'm like totally confused right now.
The wheel stopped for a few days, then started again, but last 3 days, no wheel.

Apparently blackjack doesn't work... I've tried twice and no go. Mind you, I didn't see the promotion load until day three and I'm not getting credit for any of the four challenges I've competed. Won a $1 blast and won 10 hands but so far nothing.

Worst part, email to support two days ago has gone unanswered AND direct messaged 888 support on Twitter yesterday and nothing.

Simply disgusted in every way.

It's kind of insulting that this is an official support thread, and there are many people on here including myself posting issues with the current Strike the Chip promotion that appear to be falling on deaf ears. Worst off, I e-mailed customer support 3 days ago, and finally got a response today telling me that the technical team is reviewing and will report back in 72 hours.

So...in English terms...I'm screwed out of participating in the promotion and a shot at a $30 Blast ticket.

Not that $30 is much to you...but to me it is and to feel - key word FEEL - cheated out of participating in this promotion to play for the top prize sucks.

By the way - Jackpot land is not a good idea. Bring back the treasure chest hunt.

As you had stated that you mailed support there is nothing I can do. It takes up to 72 hours before you get a reply.

Okay mr rep...explain this to me in terms I can understand...I played enough to get tokens...I used said tokens to purchase 3 $3000 jackpotland and when I tried to use them I was told it was restricted and I don't have access....Needless to say I am pissed.

I just played my first new depositors freeroll on 888 and got to #25 which I'm very happy as I just started playing about 3 weeks ago. I have been playing 1/2 and 2/5 for practice also. I see I am at Level 5 now, so I look forward to trying the Level 5+ freerolls soon as well.

After 9 hours and 16 minutes, Sweden’s Anton “B.Mitchell” Wigg and Germany’s “Pimmelspeck” struck a heads-up deal that saw the latter win $32,720.87 and the former the title and $36,159.13 in prize money.

Wigg currently sits ninth on Sweden’s all-time poker money list with $2,256,159 in live tournament earnings. That includes a career-high $672,818 for winning the EPT6 Copenhagen. More recently, he won the World Series of Poker Circuit Seminole Hard Rock High Roller for $111,719 and a gold ring.
“plomaha” Takes Down the Mega Deep

The $215 buy-in, $100K GTD Mega Deep drew 443 players who rebought 144 times, which created a $117,400 prize pool distributed to the top 56 players. Among those to earn a piece of it were “McNugget123” (22nd for $1,138.78), “Madeon1994” (15th for $1,514.46), “Imyurfriend” (7th for $2,935), and “MortenVM_” (5th for $5,870).

After “Sw33ney” bowed out in third place for $12,327, Germany’s “noqqx” and the UK’s “plomaha” duked it out for the title. After 10 hours and 53 minutes, “plomaha” emerged victorious to win the prestigious title and $22,306 first-place prize.
Luigi “firgli” Knoppers Becomes Latest GREAT 8 Champion

In one of our newest tournaments, the $88 buy-in GREAT 8, we double the usual daily $20K guarantee to $40K every Sunday. The latest edition crushed that by attracting 498 players who rebought 228 times, which created a $58,080 prize pool.

Among those to cash were “Triple_20” (19th for $505.29), “RakDoll” (14th for $667.92), Tory “S.Janowski” Quenneville (6th for $2,032.80), “Happynose” (4th for $4,356), and Jae “NEONTIGER” Kim (3rd for $5,959).

After 12 hours and 10 minutes, Russia’s Maxim “hateVAMOS” Lykov was defeated by Malta’s “firgli” in heads-up play. The Russian had to settle for second place and an $8,131.20 consolation prize, while Luigi “firgli” Knoppers won $11,035.20.

Back in January, Knoppers finished fourth out of 1,512 players in the Super XL Mini Main Event, which was good for $21,362.25.
Finland’s “_WhiteBear_” Gets Breakout Win

This week’s $109 buy-in, $20,000 Sunday Lightning 6-Max drew 143 players who rebought 85 times. That created a $22,800 prize pool that was paid out to the final three tables. Among those to cash were “Ipoo1” (14th for $296.40), “doorscentral” (11th for $490.20), “Zoob456” (7th for $741), “TISCHH” (5th for $1,482), and “Sambist1990” (3rd for $2,964).

After 9 hours and 24 minutes, Finland’s “_WhiteBear_” defeated Canada’s “fahdyali” in heads-up play to win $5,928. It was a big breakthrough for the Finn, who had previously made a name for himself in our XL Championships. First, he placed fourth in May’s XL Inferno Event #117: $15,000 Tornado for $1,925, and then he took seventh in September’s XL Eclipse Event #137: $50,000 8-Max for $2,044.
Finland’s “tikkapekka” Adds Crocodile Title to Résumé
