Cool! Sure didn't take much to get this ticket to the $100k Super Storm Freeroll. It was easy! (and while hardly ever being able to play on the site).

The hard part - - will I even be able to login to play the game? lol 🙁

[orsino12]

I couldn't get in again today 🙁

no luck at 21:28 (ET)
& still can't at 21:49 ET

I've had the same issue, but I found that if I repeatedly try to log in I can get in after 10 or 15 minutes.

It's really annoying, but if you keep trying over and over to log in as soon as you get the "oops, something went wrong" message and close it you eventually get in.
I started doing that to make sure I got in for the hand of the day. Sometimes it only took a few tries, sometimes a few dozen, but I've gotten in eventually in time for the new hand of the day each day.

Once you get in, don't leave.😉

Appreciate your feedback guys.

Why it keeps on saying "oops, something went wrong" message ? I have been facing this problem for last week n so from desktop. mobile app was working fine , but from yesterday that also is not at all reliable. Also once I went in , it did not let me register for mtts even after I tried too many times pressing register button.

888, you are a great brand and have massive players base. you must do everything to upgrade your server and sort this technical problems out. Otherwise many players will just leave to another site and you know there are enough competition in the poker world

It's nice to know they're all in contact with each other and all on the same page, lol

So I haven't (hadn't) been able to sign in ALL Day... but just now, 1min. ago I'm on!!! (9:10 pm PT & at 9:02 I still couldn't get in)

THIS ^ one time was the last time I've been able to get onto the site. And it took me ~36hrs. of trying to get on that time & didn't work for me until 9:10pm 🙁

I've had the same issue, but I found that if I repeatedly try to log in I can get in after 10 or 15 minutes.

I have not been able to get onto the site again since Apr.18th at 9:10pm & prior to that it was just briefly. It has only worked for me very briefly over the past couple weeks. I've played very very few of any of the freeroll tickets I've acquired but I'm not concerned about them... I just want to play the other tournaments on the site ... the ones that are during the morning & early afternoon when it fits my schedule and where the prizepools are biggest.

Even without playing I've managed to win 25 Venus tickets & I think I had 42 tickets in total the last time I was able to login. fwiw, I saw you for a brief moment orsino on the SNAP tables. Those are the only tables I've had time to play on for the past while 🙁

It really saddens me as I wasn't able to play on the site for a few years due to having an outdated computer (with old operating system). Now I have a newer beast of a computer and yet I can't play 🙁

fwiw, I'm trying your system orsino... I'm currently at 27th attempt consecutively.. and NOTHING 🙁 (not sure how many more tries I have in me) 🙁

[JAAMEZz]

just had a 888 update and STILL cannot login? how is this site even have a player base? i really enjoy the UI and asthetic but **** me sideways, not being able to simply LOGIN 90% of the time REALLY detracts from any plus and makes me go to a stable site like stars. i dont like to complain but for a site that deals in POKER it's pretty ridic

I was able to get in twice today, but they don't make it easy. The first time was early this morning and it took about a dozen tries making attempts every time the "oops" message came up and I closed it.

The 2nd time was a nightmare, it took several hours of repeated attempts before I finally got in, just 1 hour before the hand of the day reset.
I have no idea how many log in attempts I made before getting in, but it was a lot, well over 100.

This problem is very aggravating.

Looking through this thread, it not only seems like the vast majority of the people still having trouble logging in are Canadian, but it looks like those of us in western Canada are the majority (lots of B.C. members seem to be having trouble).

[veltins]

Its unfortunate that its been happening repeatedly at 888. 888poker better solve theis problem soon , otherwise mass exodus might happen. please take this matter very seriously cos poker players love stable sites

[99TERRANCE99]

Seriously fix the site how can the same problems be going on daily for a solid six weeks and nothing has been done ,it is borderline pathetic at this point ,noway if each player doesn’t have the same exact gameplay experience should it be running until that is the case

I'm sure shellie111 is from New Zealand, just like me. It's not just players from Canada having problems.

My uneducated guess, is it may be a timeout message, due to too many people trying to login at the same time. I manage to login today and yesterday, when there was not much traffic about. Hope that helps and good luck sorting out the problem.

888 Rep -

Need help again. I can not get into 888 on laptop.

1. When I clicked 888icon on laptop I got this: "Download the new 888 poker to keep playing" with a blue DOWNLOAD button which I clicked.
2. Then it goes to a download box with "Please wait while we update 888poker" and stays on 0% downloading.
3. Then it gives message: "Sorry, an error occurred during update, please try again. For assistance, please click Here: contact member support. Error details: 0x000d8cd4 Downloading installation package file has failed"

Hello 88 rep

Just a quick review for connection: for me the software on ny pc works fine the last few days, no problems. The mobile client sometimes loads very slow or not loads at all.

Another thing: after all the negative reviews about the new software, you guys should really think about keeping the old one. Why even change something that worked so well for so long? People really like the old software it looks like. And 888 should listen to those players who play there all the time.

Greetings.

There was a lot more players using the new software and actually like it.
Can you please tell me exactly what you dislike about the new software?
Appreciate your feedback.

My personal opinion is that its not bad but for sure the old one was better. For example what i really dislike is that you cannot change your seat while at the table.

Also i read a lot of complaints on other forums from regulars. They have valid claims. For example i read that its no more possible to play lots of tables at the same time due to lag with the new software.

In the end you guys will probably not listen, which not surprises me. Just i dont get it why you would change something that worked so well in the past for something that is slighty worse.

Thanks and greetings.

We have only changed the tables for the players that were on the old version but the new version is not new to everyone else as they have been happily playing with it for the past 2-3 years. I myself have played these tables and I find them excellent compared to some sites. There was only a small percent of players on the old version and it just wasn't feasible to continue with them.
They just need to make some adjustments in the settings to maybe change a few things then give it a try for a week and see how it goes.
I get you about moving the seat and feel that there should be an option for that.
Thanks for your feedback.
