LOL even my railers can't believe how often I get sucked on.

If I would take the time and energy to post all suckouts, this thread would be 100 pages thick.

Hi Tomac,

If you haven't already received a refund and feel you were materially affected by the connection issues yesterday, please contact [email protected] to have your case considered.

Thanks,

Hi Dylan,

Could you please find out what the hell is going on with the connection to stars recently? Disconnected but watching the action going on while you can't act is obv on stars end.

Last night it happened to me in a home game play money game. Laughable usually but this was the cardschat league. These games are more important to me than any $5 buyin. Blinded out.

Closed down stars after 15 mins and reconnected...got a message saying home games are not available in your area. WTF!

Very irritated...uggghhhh!

Dave.

Hi Dave,

In cases like these where it doesn't appear to be a site-wide problem like what we experienced yesterday, it's best to contact Support immediately as they'll have the best information available on whether it's a problem from our end, or if it's from yours they may be able to help single out what the issue is.

Thanks,
Dylan

I think it would be a really good feature to be able to choose how we want the Time Bank to be managed. Other clients have it and I find it very useful. Here is an example:

I like this idea, and have passed it on to our software team.

Is PokerStars ever going to implement user final table deal making like on Full Tilt?

Hi Mootso,

This is something we are interested in implementing, but as it one item on a long list of additions and improvements that require development, it's difficult for me to give any kind of timeline for when you can expect to see it.

Thanks,
Dylan

why are UK and other similar players .dk,.bg etc going to have their rebuys /addons raked because of the new tax regulations. For UK players , the rebuys and add ons go to the prize pool and are not stars revenue , therefore they are not subject to the 15% POC tax.

UK players will also be receiving lower vpps per $ of rake to account for the POC tax so you are charging UK players twice which will come to far more than the POC liability on their play. Can you explain why this is fair and reasonable?
any particular reason why you chose to ignore this question?

Development, surely your techs can just use the same model that is already being used on Full Tilt.

I cant understand why stars dont offer more fixed limit games. Pokerstars are consistently going on about been rec friendly a strategy i do not agree with but stars seem to.

well fixed limit does appeal to recs because they can draw cheaper. there is a fixed limit hyper turbo game on stars I like that I play in the mornings when I can.

I have asked before and no one has ever said its a bad idea why can't these games run in the evenings to?

also they would great sit and goes as the only issue with fixed limit sngs is they seem to take ages and the early stages mean very little since you can rarely win much so hyper turbo fixed limits seems an attractive option.

oh yeah and the $1.50 fixed limit 6 max multi table sngs seem nice but why can't we put in some $3.50 ones with the exact same structure?

While I'm not a tech guy, it's my understanding that because they are completely different clients, it's not as simple a matter as porting the FTP deal-making specs over to PokerStars.

I've shared this directly with our SnG manager for him to consider. Thanks for the suggestions.

I wish stars would implement on all stt's/sng's the same logic they have in place for their 50c stt's which is similar to how ftp have all of their stt's.

Basically there is always an empty table/object in the program side of it and if someone registers for it then it creates a new empty one. Certainly makes it much easier to multitable when you can go reg them all and just wait for them to fill rather than having to register in each individually then wait.

Worse with the sng's 12 players + where you reg and have to wait for it to fill before being able to reg for another, this would certainly increase the volume of games played overall for stars I think if they set them up this way.

I wanted to share feedback from our Sit and Go Manager on this topic. In his words:

"We open the number of lobbies we think are necessary and try to keep it to a minimum in order to de-clutter the lobby as much as possible. As for more lobbies creating more play, that is something I am not sure is correct. It could lead to longer waiting times since players could register for different tournaments."

Regards,
Dylan

The feedback I've received internally is that for Fixed Limit, it's a simple case of not enough players being interested and that currently, we have just enough volume to support our current offering. However, I've passed your feedback on and it is something that they regularly monitor.

Thanks,
Dylan

Surely if your techs were any good, and I doubt it after the crappy software PS7 is (see pic below) they would have access to the code for full tilt and be able to copy it or make up a new code like it.

Not only was I not able to see cards but I kept getting auto sat out and there was no option to sit back in, I had to shut down client about 3 times and log back on. I even restarted my lap top and it kept happening.

Cant understand why Stars even touched PS6 haven't you heard the expression "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

I an not sure I want to register for any tournaments as this shyte might happen again.

I reverted back to pokerstars 6. Found pokerstars 7 pretty frustrating. I didn't have any bugs though, just they say it's more friendly for new users and easier to navigate. I have found the complete opposite. It's also a lot slower than the pokerstars 6 version.

Hi Zorba,

I've shown this to our bug specialist, and he believes this is a problem with your connection, as several table elements are not loaded in that screenshot and there haven't been any other reports of this issue. PS6 currently uses less data than PS7, which is why it may seem to be more stable on slower connections. We plan on reducing that gap in the future.

Dylan

I have tried 7 off and on and have now converted to 7 permanently.Like you I thought 6 was faster however my computer is ancient like me.

More 5$-50$ NLO8 hypers to schedule during European evening. 25$ NLO8 in 22.35 EET is by far your best tournament.

Also you could try to make NLO8 hyper Progressive Super-Knockout. I'd be sure it would be fun tournament with no dull moment.

yeah I see the traffic for the sngs does not get a lot. However the traffic for the fixed limit hypers usually has a fair amount. in the earlyiest hours it struggles however it almost always exceeds guarantee later in the morning.

However it was brought up at the player meeting and the report back said it was going to run hourly and still have not seen that implemented. I emailed your support to ask for an exact date and was told that they could not confirm an exact date.

so had it strongly implied from two sources i told others these games will now run hourly and many happy people so let down if they don't.

the reason stated in the report was recreational appeal well I know these games would run better in the evenings since most recs have to work during the week. so cannot do the mornings. If they fill up in the mornings which they do they have to fill up in the evenings.

Are these going to be implemented in the evenings I have been told so in the player reps report from the player meeting and implied by email but still do not see.

I also prefer PS6 to PS7, PS7 is slower and I don't think it is much better in term of games finding. Anyway 2015 will come soon and I'm curious that Pokerstars will improve VIP system this year or not? Do you have other promotions to replace the old Battle of the Planet?
