WTA - SINGLES, Rome, clay - 1/64 finals, Kenin will defeat Andreescu.
Well, I was way off on this one and I have to give a lot of credit to Chris Finch, a coach I don't really like, that came up with a very good strategy for Ant-Man's minutes (coming of the bench for some minutes here and there, while leaving 10 minutes for the 4th Q * to keep him under the 25 minutes restriction), he was IMO the MVP of the game with 18 pts, 3 reb, 3 ast (62% FG, 2/3 - 3 pointers), but 11 pts were in the 4th Q when the Spurs seemed to had taken back the momentum and maybe run away with the W... also, I've made a bit more research on his left knee injury (I won't even talk about the right knee injury he was dealing with going into the Denver Series), this was an injury that requires 4-6 weeks and this guy is back and stealing a game from the Spurs after only 9 days- he might be the real life Wolverine lolBillyR23 said:the reports on Ant-Man is that he practiced today and is 'pushing to play' (it will be a GTD), which is insanely surprising because the injury from G4 vs. Denver looked terrifying* I'm not sure it will help the team if he forces a return...
This was a close game and IMO an undeserved 1-0 win for the Gunners (some bad referee mistakes in this one and at least the most important one/s went the hosts way), but I'll gladly take it lolBillyR23 said:Arsenal - Atlético Madrid 1@ 1.60 on Unibet
It was a very good performance from the hosts and a way easier win (and qualification to the Final) than I've expected * FT 4-0BillyR23 said:Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest 1@ 1.75 on Unibet

The Lakers could have been up in this Series as (IMO) they had their chances to get the W at many points in each game so far... those 3rd quarters were kinda the deciding factor in each of the games... also, the referees - sigh- if even the Lakers can't get at least a similar whistle as OKC than it's kinda over for the entire league... I've seen so many videos/interviews with players and coaches saying that it's so tough to play this team, as they can get away with so much on the defensive end (they foul on pretty much every possession), while you can't get anywhere close to SGA for example or it's FTs... PS. now I understand why Wemby doesn't like Chet- that flopper WOW lol * the league needs to do something about this issue... the refs even review most of this 'fouls' for potential upgrade to flagrant fouls and when they see the clear flops trey do nothing...john_entony said:Unfortunately, I had no choice but to bet on a game with the Lakers, a team I’ve been rooting for almost 15 years. I just couldn’t bet against them in the Playoffs. So yes, it’s doubly disappointing that the series is already 3:0 and there’s very little hope left.
Perhaps the uneven refereeing is having too significant an impact on the mental state of the Lakers players (especially Austin Reaves, who “draws” free throws like James Harden). But in the Playoffs, you have to be able to handle that. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen the Lakers players show the will to win in these Playoffs. It’s hard to expect any success without that. For example, if you compare them to Minnesota, their mental game is totally under control! They came back twice in the 3rd game of the series (in the 1st quarter from a score of 3:18, and in the 4th quarter from a score of 79:88). I’ll say it again: only Victor was able to take charge at key moments and deliver the result. So yes, I like San Antonio overall, and I’ve written about this many times before, but I’m betting on a Minnesota win simply because they’re heavily underrated by the bookmakers.BillyR23 said:The Lakers could have been up in this Series as (IMO) they had their chances to get the W at many points in each game so far... those 3rd quarters were kinda the deciding factor in each of the games... also, the referees - sigh- if even the Lakers can't get at least a similar whistle as OKC than it's kinda over for the entire league... PS2. I also like the Wolves (especially at such high odds) for tonight's game - I mean, Wemby can't possibly have a 10* performance like in G3, right?! while Randle (and pretty much everyone else from the Wolves side) should be much better for this G4, at home where they were so good in the Playoffs, not just this year, but for the past few years too...
