Unfortunately, the simplest kind of sport is becoming the most popular. All children need to feel like football players is to buy a ball.

It's hard to talk about the most popular. In my opinion, there are several most popular sports, including football and boxing, hockey, racing, basketball. Different sports have different popularity in different countries, but perhaps the only exception to the rule is boxing.

Soccer is. I think that's what you mean. American football is the most popular sport in the USA, but much lower on the worldwide list. Surprisingly to me, Cricket is a top 3 most popular sport in the world. This is largely due to the fact it is #1 in India and they have a few people there. The India vs. Pakistan cricket rivalry is crazy!

Your question made me wonder which sport is the least popular.
- Lawnmower racing. This is a type of motor sport in which participants race lawnmower tractors.
If it can be considered a sport, then what can we say about poker?

'Rock paper scissors' may have the highest participation in the world, though hard to be sure.

Yes, of course, it is the most popular sport in the world, crossing all social classes regardless of what country you live in

With over 3.5 billion soccer fans in North America, Latin America, South America and various European countries, football is the most popular sport in the world.

I thinks, you only need a ball and a couple of jumpers for goalposts eh? It is universal. You can make a ball out of rags. The beautiful game.

Football has the highest paid players and is watched by most people on every continent. So yes, football is the most popular sport in the world 🌎
