Canada moves on with the win in or overtime 4 to 3 nice
They got lucky!

Canada will fall hard.... I am expecting 7-0 semi-final for Finland with Canada doing 2 own goals

You're dreaming Canada wins and moves to the finals

that was way to much of a sweat for Canada, lmao Leaf fans must be all over themselves ,Marner was their problem lol

Slovakia is not among the choices😏. They're already in the semifinals. Slovakia won bronze medals at the last Olympics. The best player is Juraj Slafkovsky.

In the men side Canada 5 - Finland 2
USA 6 -Slovakia 1
Gold- Canada 4- USA1
In the women hate to say it USA 4 - Canada 1 but sure hope I got it wrong but I dont think I do

I think people expected less of them since it's the NHL players now and they only have few. Definitely have surpassed all expectations. I expect Slovakia to win in OT vs USA

Bronze Medal Game...... Finland 6 Slovakia 1

Finland has now medaled in all but 1 Olympics when it is best on best having only missed the podium in 2002, not even Canada who has won gold 3 times can say that after not medaling in 1998 and 2006. Congrats Finland !!

Pretty cruel final for Colorado Avalanche players.

Cale Makar and Devon Toews fail to stop the bouncing puck and let USA player slip in 1v2 and score on the 1st period
Makar does increase his individual play after that and it does result in revenge goal with Toews assisting... at least something good
Nathan MacKinnon misses that empty netter where goalie is occupied on the other side of the net
Toews fails to score on that grease shot where he has empty net as Hellebuyck comes with last second paddle save
In OT, it's Makar who fails to get stick check to the USA player who managed to pass to USA player in the Canada zone, Nathan MacKinnon fails to defend against that guy and he managed to pass to Jack Hughes for that OT winner.

Gratz on USA for winning.... I guess.

Brutalfriggin ending 3 on 3 is no way to win or lose a medal .. absolutely hate the format the second I heard it ...not because we lost both golds that way either .

It would be great if we could see those teams play a 7 game series

A tense Olympic final. Many people were waiting for these teams at the end of the journey. Gaudreau

Looking at the poll and recent international form, Canada’s depth and goaltending still feel unbeatable. Their top‑line is clicking and the younger guys are gaining experience fast. I’ve been cross‑checking player trends on NHLDB, which shows Canadian forwards leading the scoring charts and the netminder posting the lowest save % among contenders. My money’s on Canada taking gold.

I think Canada still edges out the US for gold, though Germany and Sweden are dark horses. Following the tournament has got me into collecting hockey trading cards from CardChasers to track stats and young stars like Celebrini. It makes following the event more engaging.
