Absolutely, poker should be in the Olympic Games! It would be very interesting to see poker players wearing the colors of their country's flag. I think that in the future this may come true and poker will take an honorable place among other kinds of sports.

No. The luck factor is too big. (And alcohol is prohibited for athletes :))

No, not worth being an Olympic sport in my opinion.
I think there is a lot of skill in poker, but there is just too much luck involved in the result. You hear of absolute amateurs winning poker tournaments, but that does not happen at the Olympics. Olympic sport is reliant on skill with very little luck playing a role.

I think, yes.
For me, poker is an intellectual sport. And I believe that poker could well be an Olympic sport. But whether they recognize it as such or not is another question.

...playing poker depends on technique, skill and study in addition to practice... even though the game depends on a small percentage of luck, I still believe it should be included in the Olympic Games.

In my opinion, poker is a sport. I believe that poker is a sport like chess, for example. Calling chess a sport and not considering poker a sport is like a double standard.

For me, poker is primarily a game of chance. I don't consider poker to be a sport, although patience, discipline and skill are crucial in poker, just like in sports. Luck is also an important factor, but fortunately for us it is not decisive. I don't think that poker will ever be recognised as an Olympic sport.

Hi :)
I think that yes, poker should be recognised as an Olympic sport. There is every reason for this and it would be fair.
Maybe someday, the time will come when one of the members of the CardsChat community will become an Olympic champion :)

It would never work in my opinion. Poker is a slow sport, in an Olympics people look for 'physical' sports, and besides that a tournament takes a long time, after a while it becomes boring to watch.
