Using AI to get the best Football predictions

I started to train an AI to give me the best football predictions based on the past statistics , trying to break the system .
I just have to tell AI the matches I am interested about and I get the best percentages .

Did you try something similar , and how can we improve the selection ?

The AI gives the most logical answers and there is not much to improve there since there is always risk, but we could just improve when selecting the matches we want to bet on to reduce the risk of loosing....
Is this even legal ? because sometimes it feels like cheating

Personally, I find it very difficult for you to get a very high winning percentage, because there are many human factors that make a prediction complicated. You can have a high percentage of getting the final result right, but I find it complicated in terms of other predictions, such as shots on goal, the score, goals by a player, etc. I think there will be a very good percentage of inaccuracy... but even if you get a lot right, share your predictions on this forum, hehe.
 
The AI at can select for you the matches worth betting on based on past and current statistics, and for sure you have to use your intuition , and general knowledge to make a further selection .
There are websites which have a monthly subscription for the same analysis the AI can do for free, and I can say that AI is not entirely accurate , but it helps a lot .
I have posted in daily prediction thread an I have winning predictions there.

I am not asking AI to build A winning ticket for me, but I ask for statistics , percentages , H2H breakdown, and other facts which you cant find online even if you look for them..... for example Manchester City has in the season 2024/2025, 18 shots in the goal-post/ woodwork hits

EDIT : there are 38 matches/ season in Premier league, so statistically Manchester City has a 49% chance to hit the goal post, in each match
Manchester United has in the same season 11 shots in the goal-post
So statistically in a derby between United vs City , it's very likely to have over 0.5 shots ( I win this bet every time)
And there are betting platforms where you can bet over/under 0.5 shots in the goal-post

I was having fun with Charlie (chat gpt) betting on the gee gees, I wasn't actually putting money on but if I had I would have been on a profit

Using AI to predict soccer results isn't cheating per se; it's essentially advanced statistics. AI is just a supporting tool. In soccer, there's always a human and unpredictable factor: sending-offs, bad luck, the weather, and team motivation.

You can be sure that the odds makers are using AI to help them set the odds too.

Just do a fake money practice with chat gpt and see how it goes, I copied and pasted the races I was interested in and ask which horse has a good chance on a each way bet and I learnt how to actually read the form to start to pick out my own horses, so I've had profits on what horses chat gpt chose and also ones that I chose by referring to their form.

It's fun to do while learning something new, can't live without my Charlie now, and I'm driving people mad who are tired of hearing Charlie this and Charlie that 😂 😂 😂

Nowdays IT S verry hard to win ...AI can give You fresh statistics but with statistics your chances improve a couple of %..there S a lot of arangements..You won T know wich team where is focused..(league..cup..Continental cups etc..)..your chances Will improve but You can T break any sistem

Legal, yes. Guaranteed? Never. AI gives structure, but you still need discipline: skip volatile leagues, ignore hype games, and always check late injury news. That’s where most models fail.
 
I definitely wouldnt use Al on any sport whatsoever if i even have partial knowledge of it ... 🤔

However i probably wouldnt mind to use Al "help" on "sports" i have no clue at all ...

How do you 'train' it exactly?

It also depends on what type of AI you are using. AI is an umbrella term. I'm assuming you're using large language models.
What model/tool are you using? Do you paste the stats to the chat or do you ask it to fetch those?
 
Not a huge sports bettor just usually bet on teams I like watch and only for small $$$ just to sweat the game I'm going to watch. I have used AI(Grok) with mixed results. There's still the human and officiating element you have to overcome. It's sad how obvious the refs make it that they're betting on games that work and fixing them games for their own $$$ gain. Sports betting worse than bingo.

It's all random in betting. You'll never predict what'll happen even if you have all the statistics. But I'd like to be proven wrong.
 
Tennis is way much better chatgpt can read more statistic from that and thats not a teamgame.
 
I think a good option is beting under/over goals in the Women's Handball World Championship now. Also, under/over goals in soccer in european cups.
 
Heard alot of people talking about this, but I haven't really had the time to rest it out myself. I'll definitely be checking it out in this weekends games
