Many players will play any 2 cards. As a consequence, there's a bigger chance someone will hit the flop and go bet high or all in. And when there's for example a 2-7-Q on the board, it may look like bluffing to you, but it could easily be someone with two pairs.

Depends on when and how. Rule of thumb: don't bluff and don't think they do, believe them. However, there are some tell-tale signs the player is bluffing/semi-bluff, like, for example, when the play makes little sense - fails to either extract chips off you or squeeze you out of the pot. Hard to explain, but you can sense a weird play often.

This is of of the situations I referred to. It makes little sense to overbet two pair, except maybe in multipot or when a double card will cancel it. So very often it would be semi-bluff, a really weak hand (2nd or 3d pair) or a complete bluff with overcards, Ax. That is if they bet, not call.

Bluffing is part of the game and it is a strategy and must be prepared! So say the experts.

Excessive bluffing in freerolls is common because players face no financial risk, leading to loose and unpredictable gameplay. Many participants experiment freely, making bluffs harder to read. To handle this, play tight, observe patterns, and capitalise on opponents’ mistakes. Patience and strong hands usually outperform frequent bluffing in freeroll environments sso id .

It's always good to identify the maniac players at the start of freerolls and play premium hands against them.

There are some players that always bluff in freerolls and even if they got caught they win with nothing so yes they do and for some it works.

Don't play many freerolls but bluffing in them would seemingly be pretty stupid as most players are calling stations. You can't bluff calling stations and be profitable long term....hence the term "calling stations". To beat calling stations you gotta value bet them to death when you have a good hand.

Cheers!!!

I wouldn't call those who bluff them too much a player, they're maniacs and they do this in every game.

I'd rather call it excessive shoving. Well, we may call it a bluff as it suggest the stronger hand than it is...

Players who bluff excessively, as a strategy, usually do so in freerol!!
Do you agree?
I do agree somewhat since they’ve nothing to lose and also doubt if they do it more frequently when it comes to investment playing!

Definitely more maniacs in freerolls who shove any 2 cards. The funny thing is most of the time they still don’t reach the money with an enormous stack as they fail to adjust their strategy.

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve seen players go from a huge stack to out in a just a few hands because they refuse to stop going all in or calling players all ins, I have wondered if the sites use house players for this to get the fields down quicker for me it’s a possibility.

Also it’s free so their is zero initial financial loss in this strategy.

There is deffo a point there. In general, players play wide range of hands as there is no real money loss risk.

Calling draws, or just calling whatever is "norm"

Best thing to do is to bet hard when you got a hand and dont try to bluff those limpers - punish with good hand instead! ;)

Bluffing a lot is not a good strategy, a lot depends on the situation and on the opponent, in any case, this is a difficult situation and there is not much interest in it

In free tournaments, players bluff too much because they play hands with low equity and tend to try to take down pots with marginal hands, especially in the early levels.

I agree. They're not risking anything so they'll bluff or shove with anything. It happens in low buy-in tournaments too where the risk is very low.
