Honestly if it were me in your shoes, I would of played it the exact same way. If I raised the turn on this board I would be FoS well I would have some sort of draw, all of my value hands I am betting on the flop, (I've learned the hard way to never give any free broadway draws) different texture I would be more inclined to raise the villain if he is capable of folding and reads my raise as a value hand. River sizing is fine, hand 2 wp, some may advocate bet folding, which you could do against a station that is unlikely turn his hand into a bluff. The river is ugly enough I think majority would check as well.

To me it looks like Ax with the diamond, or some combo draw, get it in your ahead enough. Hand 2 seems fine, if he somehow woke up with 910, nothing you can do. I have seen villains like this play over pairs in this way, pretty retarded, but you can't put him exactly on 910 only.

Jake, WP in both hands. Sizing is fine IMO.

Logan. GII. Both times. You have a set, he can have worse.

@Jake: WP in both, I'd personally size a bit bigger on the turn but not a ton more tbh. Just don't want to give an absurdly good price (we gave him almost 4:1 to call).

@Logan: First hand, only flushes he should have are tiny and terrified of a 4th diamond. I guess he can maaaaybe have some JT here, but we have way too much equity to ever not gii here. Everything else shouldn't be sizing so huge anyway. Expect combo draws a lot imo - just gii. Sigh when he has a flush, then river a boat.

Second hand, snappiest call in the world. He's a fish for shoving any hand here basically, which means he can prob do it with draws, 2 pairs, A high. Who knows? But you're like never ever behind. If he has T9 more power to him for making the worst play with his hand and still getting paid cause it was a cooler spot.

This is part of the reason I posted this. I just thought becasue were deeper in a 3bet pot it might be okay?

River is 100% a check back b/c its the worst card in the deck right?

Yeah deffo, his 1 pair hands aren't paying you off here. Can't see him ever having a worse 2P. I've changed my mind though and agree with Scourrge. Should probably size larger OTT.

Hey guys I've recently started to legitimately become a winning player playing online poker. I'm playing 5NL on Bovada with Poker Indicator but I don't really know what the norms are for the stats I have. I also am not positive how to define players based on their stats. Does anyone have any info on that or where I can find the info...

My stats are below; if someone could give me some constructive criticism I'd really appreciate it.

They are:
1115 hands
-$7 USD
-7.8 bb/100
29.77 VPIP
17.9 PFR
3.41 3B
23.1 WTSD
44.9 W$SH%
Agg 2.45
Agg % 28.2

Thanks.

A thousand hands is nowhere near enough hands to really look at stats. My advice at this point would be to keep playing.

It looks like your a little to loose, since your losing I would suggest tightening up, also look to 3 bet more. Your wtsd looks on the lower end, I hope your winning alot when you go to sd at least. What is your cbet stat? 1000 hands is enough to recognize some flaws, I also would say your vpip gap is to big, but tightening up should help that.

Really lost in this hand, villain is 42/29/1.3 10% fishy over 62 hands. 33/8 14CC in the SB. UTG is an average looking reg at this point, 25/19/2.3 11.9% over 164.

I got a bit lost in this hand really and feel I played it pretty terribly. My smallish bets where an attempt to keep a fish with a weak range in the pot but then he 3bets the turn and I'm sad.

I would say 5k is a great place to start looking at the things that converge more quickly like VPIP/PFR, 3bet, cbet flop, etc. Also keep in mind it's important to look at stats positionally (another reason more hands = better).

Really just keep playing, try to improve as you go, and look at stats every once in a while. It's obviously important to have good fundamentals, which will often translate into standard-looking stats, but it's just as important to start developing your postflop game, so look at specific hands too, and post in the cash games section.

What are your % of. I would say fold the river, I think he has a flush here to often of the time for us to be good, its a easy call on the turn.

VPIP/PFR/AGG 3bet%.

I ended up having the best hand but I'm pretty sure it was the absolute bottom of his range and I knew I'd misplayed it anyway. Lessons, remember to bet more on wet flops regardless of how I perceive their range, I guess I was over thinking it (yeah it's possible!) and also slow down on those kind of turns.

Barely $300. Totally underolled for 25nl but i´m ok to try a 3bi shot and cut down 25nl tables right away if blows. Also, plan is not to play just 25nl, will keep playing 10/16nl too but trowing 25nl tables here and there on better times, this should help with variance and with the move been less stresful.

Sounds ok?.

For me to be comfortable I like to be able to drop down and still have 25-30Bi's for the limit I move down to so $300 wouldnt be enough for me to be adding in 25nl tables, $375 for a 3-4bi shot would be fine though, then at least I have a nice roll for 10nl if it goes wrong.
As long as your making sure to move down then who cares though, I think too many people are proper BRM nits at the micros for no good reason and it could be holding them back imo. When I was playing 25nl I got myself up to about $980 at one point and I wish to **** I'd shot took 50nl in those days, won't make the same mistake again, aggressive BRM all the way for me, its not like the money matters or I rely on it so what difference does it make if I take a 4bi 25nl shot at $400 and have to drop back down to 10's if it goes wrong :)

Clearly I'm a bankroll nit; I'm playing 10nl with a 2k roll. I might be holding me back myself; I don't know but again cash isn't and hasn't ever been my regular game for any decent length of time. I feel I need to do my "time" at 10nl and earn my way upto 25nl first.

I should take a real 10buy-in shot at 25nl, given my roll but...but in cash games; I don't deal with swings anywhere near as well as I do in SnG's/MTT's where I'm used to $100-$300 swings regularly. I've played like 5k hands at 25nl and it's gone well but could just be a heater or whatever but I think it more comes down to the fact I feel comfortable I can grind it back in SnG's/MTT's where as in cash I'm still more of a new player.
