Guys. I'm "grinding" freeroll SnG's on Carbon - what should I do when I win my first $1? Play 11c 6-man SnGs? Or wait til I get to like $6 and play 4nl like a boss?

2ble ups were really easy there last time i played, not sure what is the min. buyin thought. Playing the CC freebies there can´t hurt also to grow a BR. If 2ble ups not a option because buyin i probably go with 9-man for the less variance than 6 max.

Yeah I'm obv gonna start playing the CC games if possible, but don't remember the schedule and depending on classes I might not be able to. The smallest DoNs are $1 + $0.08, so I'm not sure I want to do that, but we'll see... Thanks for the opinion.

Weren't you playing 10nl before? I know you have a bad run but did you go completely bust? No way of depositing $40 for 2nl?

But anyway...to answer you question, I would play the SNGs rather than trying 4nl with 1.5BI

I was playing 10nl with the occasional 25nl on BCP. Then BCP switched networks and decided it was a good idea to not have a Mac client before doing that. So I have $350+ stuck on BCP for the time being, and had no rolls elsewhere. Pocketehs was kind enough to hook me up with 15 BIs for 4nl on Lock for a repay via paypal, but then I found out that PT3 doesn't support Lock for Mac, because Lock is the only site on the Revolution network with a Mac client...

So I still have my fingers crossed for getting started on Carbon (my HUD works there), and when BCP finally comes out with a Mac client (they've given no time estimate for this) I can play on there again.

Yay!!

1. More action = more fun and you can win a big pot with less than a set
2. Easier to know what everyones ranges should be with only 6 seats
3. I decided to stick to it a long time ago, no way im changing now :)

This was a good fold imo. Villain is 12/9 with a 1% 3b, I have 400 hands on him. I think he ONLY has KK here. Thoughts? I maybe should have folded to the flop raise but I wanted to be sure it wasn't AK he had.

Hand 1 i think 400 hands are decent to take out AK from 1%, also flating to a 4bet by a tight player like this gona put him just on AA/KK on 5nl, Agree that should fold flop there.

Hand 2 i fold too, KT is on his range for sure, also any JX and even when we have a blocker can´t discard the flush, nice fold on both with Aces (which suck).

Small sample but we can kinda tell hes like fishy loose-passive. Dont really like the 4 bet tbh. I think flat the min 3-bet on the flop and try to get to showdown cheap.

Like when he flats in the BB I think he has so many small pps and sc that hit this flop really hard. Other than like 57/97/54 there arent really any other draws so it looks like he has a made hand but i hate these spots with small samples

Your 3 bet sucks, and as played would fold to the 4bet jam.
Just flat the min raise as your in pos and on this run out I'm stationing post.

19 hand sample blows - odds are he is more loose passive post than it seems. I'd also flat the flop raise. Just think he's shaping up to be a player who would check-call so much of his top and middle pair range. Min-check-raise basically looks like the nuts, but I'm obv not folding the flop. After you 3bet, I'd fold to the 4bet. You are in no way committed here.

After looking at spoiler: Obv it sucks when he spikes two pair, but part of what makes us able to print money is he calls us down with SO much worse on the flop, and ALSO we want to get away or keep it cheap when he starts going crazy with the nuts.

Already been said but I also just flat the 3bet and call turn and river bets, small sample but he looks the passive type and you've really got to think about what he's raising with, 1 pair is rarely good but sometimes they do spazz out so we still have a little bit of poss value, best thing to do is just call it down and hope its one of those times imo
