I would fold that turn most often as we beat absolutely nothing but I have no idea why villain bets here, donkey.
I think he was hoping I would be good enough to fold lol

Yeah I probably fold the turn too. Then again I'm a massive nit.

Liking the new avatar Cafe!

Maybe I'll post some stats on here for you guys to look over. Just need a decent sample size, only sitting on like 1k hands ATM.

Yeah I know he had me crushed the whole hand but he was pretty NITty after the flop so I knew I could get him a lot of hands playing aggressive, Im just working on playing the man a lot more lately.

If he's that nitty then his UTG range is very tight, and KJ is a dominating hand's wet dream. You got lucky in that his nittyness helped him get away from that hand due to the board texture -- he likely had an overpair or maybe AK (tho if nitty he's probably not peeling that flop with AK) and your button flatting range includes a ton of small pp's that have him crushed. Nice bluff if you played it with this in mind.

But I remind myself that this 2NL and I find it hard to believe anybody is that nitty. If he's good enough to lay down an overpair there then I'd expect him to have moved up.

and my perceived range on the BTN worked will here I think, all PP and such

Yeah if he was a decent reg, you flatting his raise on the btn prob did you better than if you were to 3bet....coz then he would be able to narrow your range and know that, that board wouldn't hit it...so you played it like a set.....nice bluff

seriously, don't bother. Just fold pre, it's not worth it at 2nl to get into a 3b war w/regs.

because vs LP openers people in blinds polarised ranges are normally weighted towards bluffs, bluffs don't do too well on that flop so floating (+ he has an open ender) is ok, dunno how often I bet turn as villain though when we have SD, check turn bet rivers might be ok-ish.

Just wondering what people think of depositing to get out of 2nl and jump to 5nl, I know the game is not very different but im getting bored at 2nl seeing I cant mass multi table its a complete grind to properly get the roll for 5nl.
I am beating 2nl pretty comfortable over 10, 000 hands I have a profit of $38 and am beating it at around 14.9BB/100 after getting a few of my old hands back into pokertracker as a lot of them were deleted.

Any ideas? This is 6max btw. Or should I just keep playing 2nl till I make the jump myself, Just hard when I cant multitable or play for many hours a day?

Yeah deposit imo, 5nl is easy and you will move quicker up the ladder...your game solid at 2nl and it won't change at 5nl, both as bad as each other and lots of fishes.....do it....gl

Why not trow some shots to 5nl?.

You are winning at a good rate on 2nl and with $78 you could try a 5bi shot ($25) on next level, if don´t work still have $50 left which is plenty for 2nl if already winning.

How many tables are you playing?
