Recently small blind raised me half dozen times and I had crap every time. One time I came over the top and shoved with rags. I showed so he doesn't think I got a lucky hand and keep attacking my blind.

Poker

I never show my cards, I don't like that someone saw and could draw their own conclusions about my game.

I never show my cards and there are two reasons for it: you have to pay to see my cards and I usually play multiple tables and I dont have enough time to show them

When they don’t show their cards, let the opponent suffer from guessing that I had a combination

I do this only in rare cases. When I have the mood for this and the game is going great. I think that this is unnecessary in the game.

Sometimes I do show my card when I want to make myself look like a player of one type of another. I may want to appear loose or solid depending. Also sometimes I just want to be a jackass and I do a lot of crazy showings.

Hi everyone.

Do you usually show the cards before returning them to the deck? I have read that sometimes it can be a good strategy to put rivals on tilt ...

Leave your comment here with the reasons why you do it (or not).

I do not usually do it because for me it is free information for others ....

Also, regarding the first sentence, it seems disrespectful to others, but hey, don't forget that you are reading a rookie's opinion.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Best regards from Buenos Aires.

I Never show my cards, poker is a game of information, you shoud not give free information, imo.

Well , I used to do it in the past sometimes . Now I have disabled this option from the lobby on Pokerstars , on ACR I neither do this . Cause I don't want to give free info to opponents about the hands that I play or the decisions that I make . Ofcourse , if you know what you're doing , which hands and after which specific result you should show , then it might come in handy to put on tilt your foes . This tactic by my opponents had some effect on me in the past , not anymore cause I don't watch their cards when they show them , very rarely I might :)

Depends what I want to achieve. If is it FT I usually play few hands with good cards and show some of them. In the future part of the game I want to build strong respect for me from other players, so when I have 7 5 playing with them like with rockets

I never show my cards. Why give your opponents additional info?

I say make them pay to see what you got. Unless of course it's heads up and you wanna get into the opponent's head.

I almost never show my cards unless I am pulling a big bluff and I think it will get my opponents head and start the tilt machine if I show. That is not often so I wind up very rarely ever showing my cards.

I find it to be situational dependent, if there is an edge to be gained in the specific situation then showing is advantageous. If not then it's a good rule to never give away any information that can be used now or in the future against your style or play.

Never do and never will. When players show their bluff, then I'll just stick a little note on them.

I advise you not to show your cards.
A quiet and calm fold enhances your reputation at the table and you will be taken more seriously.

most of the time I show it depending on who I play since in some cases it is not good especially if you make a lantern
