I placed 62nd in the 3000 blast freeroll today but have not been awarded a $5 blast ticket. Does it take 72 hours to be awarded or should it be awarded in completion of the tournament placing in the top 600?

I'm pretty sure the tickets I won were credited as soon as the game ended at 600 players.
I know the one I won this morning was definitely credited right away (already used it and won $10)

I also got $50 spin once and got 4th when playing 3 out of 4. I was very annoyed with not being ITM with those odds. Yesterday I won a $5 Blast ticket and got $10 spin. By the time of buzzer, 3 of us left with similar stack. I could not believe that I got AA after buzzer and was thrilled to win the $10 until the guy next me made a flush..........
So far made $37.50 from these blast freerolls.

You can also use those tickets for normal 5$ tournaments, but they only last for a little less than 48 hours.

When I click on ticket and has dropdown of options on where to use, I only see $5 satellite tournaments as options to play (along with $5 Blast option).

Are you saying it can be used for all $5 tournaments (non-sat tournaments also)???

Yes but when you click the ticket, it will only show those tournaments, who are in registration right now. So you need to go into the MTT lobby and see, when the next 5$ event is running.

Great, that is good to know. I have won maybe 12ish of those $5 Blast tickets and did not realize that.
I looked in the 888 lobby just now and have never played any of those tournaments (only play ultra micro and freerolls). Any suggestions of best chances to get ITM for beginner player like me in one of those $5 tournaments (like one of the Gtd such as $1500, $1000, etc)?

I started playing at 888 a month ago after a year on PokerStars, and I have run into an almost insane amount of coolers over the first 20k hands. Its definitely not been a good start. But I am not going down that rabbit hole of claiming, that the site is rigged, because I just dont see any motive.

Sure enough coolers generate bigger pots and more rake, but if there was just a higher frequency of coolers, I would have as many with me as against me, and I am pretty sure, that is not the case. Over 6k hands at 10NL 6-max I ran KK into AA twice, but I never saw KK at showdown, when I had AA. And so on.

So if the site was rigged, it would have to be rigged against me. And that simply makes no sense. I am a new player at 888, so if anything, they would want to rig it, so that I ran good and continued to play. They have no motive to turn a new player off by putting hideous coolers on him time and time again.

Avoid the RA format, since for maximum EV you should really always purchase the add-on chips, if you make it that far, and often you should also rebuy or even dubble rebuy. So in reality a 5$ add-on is at least at 10$ tournament and sometimes a 20$ tournament. Personally I always prefer regular speed over turbo, but that is up to you. Good luck at the tables, I also won a ticket last night, so maybe see you there!

I have won 3 blast tickets in the last couple weeks and so far and keep getting unlucky and not cashing. Its great to have another option.

I wasn't fond of these games at the beginning, mostly because I was only able to play 1 game on Saturdays and Sundays so I wasn't winning very many of the $5 tickets.
I eventually realized if I get up 15-20 minutes earlier I can catch the early morning game before I leave for work (game starts at 5 am PST) and I've been winning tickets hand over fist ever since as these games have far fewer players (often under 6000, sometimes barely more than 5000).
I don't even know how many tickets I've won since I started playing these every day, but I kept screen shots of my cashes and I've cashed 13 times, including 3 $50 spins where I got 2 firsts and a 2nd.

Adding up my totals I've cashed for $187.50 so far.

Also, it looks like whether you are #1 or #600, you get the same $5 Blast ticket prize. Maybe I am reading it wrong, but that seems to not make it interesting once you get to #600. Plus, I often can get to #1099 out of the 10,000; but not too often make it in the top #600. My best was #182 yesterday.

Wow, that is great to get 3 x $50 spins and win $187.50 so far. I have only done $45 with 2 $7.50 2nd places ($25) and 2 x $10 wins.
I also have noticed the earlier being easier to get ticket with less people, and I have also grown to like these freerolls more as less people are playing them and easier to get tickets now. I still like first idea of paying more places with less value tickets as higher the place you get.

I only got 2 $5 BLAST tickets this week, but I did manage a win for $10 this morning.
888 is making it tough, my last 9 tickets have all been $10 spins, so no easy 2nd or 3rd place money.

I like the ticket more than I liked the $3k tournament. Ive yet to get a big spin but ive won 4 of 5 ( all $10 ). I also got my 1st ever non ticket win on the spinning wheel. A $1 blast ! I was so shocked. Haha. Knockin on lvl 35, hope my scratch gets me anything other than the igoodies tourney entry. Out of 6 scratches to date ive got igoddies twice. They both expired unplayed.

In a hyper turbo format like this you need to be extremely aggressive and adopt a "go strong or go home" mentality, before your stack get so short, that you have no fold equity left. Otherwise you just get blinded away.
