I continue to warm up to this freeroll. Just have to play as a many times as possible to get a $5 ticket on occasion. Then win something in the $5 Blast maybe 50% of the time. I won $17.50 recently which was my largest win on these $5 Blast so far; this ups my total winnings to $70.00 on this freeroll.

Cause you play them? Try not playing something for a certain (long period) of time and then you probably get it from wheel ...

Thanks for the advice! :)

I only play the Casino on Thursday for the Casino Mixup Freeroll ticket. I noticed the Wheel has Blast tickets (not the Blast Freeroll tickets) but I have never won it. I decided to play Blast ($0.10 over 300 times) to see if that would change things (and also because it's fun :D) but it didn't work.

This kind of freeroll is really nice rakeback from 888 poker, maybe I need to start considering to play there more consistent... PokerStars rarely give something useful. Blast or not blast but it's still good chance to get your BR for free...

The key thing with this $5 blast ticket is-- it can surprisingly affect your poker ROI either into +ive zone or into -ive zone over the course of a time.
As there are 14 tourneys in a week, 60 in a month and if you get ticket in 20 tourneys and lost 10 of them then you can easily calculate your ROI.
This thing does not matter for a freeroll hunter or a creative player but it affects hugely a professional player or a stacked player as these tickets are measured like a real buyins by the poker tracking sites like sharkscope etc.

However, I think 888 has decided to run this freeroll for the entire year.

I still miss the freeroll which was offered in 2017 where 888 was giving real gifts to top 50 players. I did win 2 t- shirts during that time.

What makes you think that? Not exactly sure but i believe that this current daily promotion have already lasted probably like 2-3* times longer than previous 2 daily promotions (together) ...
Still this roulette thing ends aswell at some point, only question is when ... (i cant wait to this promo to end)

blast

i think it is a fairly good gift / freeroll - afterall it is completely free no strings attached.

good supplement to your bankroll especially if you can avoid the 10 cent blast on hturning the wheel! :)

I've really come to enjoy this freeroll.
Using the tickets sure seems to be a streaky proposition though.
I just had a streak of 6 games where the best I could do was 1 2nd place in a $25 game for $7.50 but then the last 2 days I won both games, although the spins were only $10.

I'm pretty sure I've won more from the tickets from this freeroll than any other freeroll I've played on 888.

Yes, this is interesting promotion. Though I don't recommend you to spend tickets on blasts. It's too random, the outcome depends from your action much less than in spin'n'gos for comparison.

I would never pay to play these $5 BLAST games, but with tickets I'm willing to take a shot at a 6 minute game.
Besides, these tickets are only good for 2 days and during the week and I'm generally too tired to try and play a tourney that might take 3-6 hours where a min cash is probably less than $10.

This is actually a very generous promotion, I'm generally getting 2 and sometimes 3 tickets a week and definitely cashing more than 1 time in 4 in the BLAST games.

I've won my last 2 games for $10 and $17.50 putting my winnings from this promotion well over $300.

Still loving this freeroll.

Since my last post 9 days ago I won 4 more $5 BLAST tickets and cashed in 2 of those.

I got a $50 spin and had to settle for 3rd for $7.50. I also got a $25 spin and won it for $17.50.
The other 2 were $10 spins which I lost.

Definitely the best freeroll for my style on 888 as I'm consistently getting a decent number of these tickets and cashing in a good % of them.

Thanks.

What works for me is pretty simple. I mostly just play the morning game (5 am for me) which has roughly 6000 entrants. I enter about 15 minutes into late registration when the field is already down to 4000 players and many of the craziest of the bingo players are already out. At this point you have maybe 2 rounds to find a premium hand or a good situation before you are pretty much forced all in if you haven't won a pot yet. Don't even try to be fancy, just shove a good hand, even A-A, you will be called virtually every time, often by more than 1 player.
Of course even mostly playing premium hands you will get cracked by garbage, a lot, they still hold up often enough to get a couple of tickets a week, and you will even win a few from behind.

The later game with 10k-12k players is much tougher. I enter these from the start as you need a lot more chips so I try to see some cheap flops early.
Today I had over 58k in chips and thought that was more than enough to fold my way to an easy ticket, I even folded K-K and J-J preflop, but it was closer than I thought. I ended the game with a bit more than 3k in chips, barely more than 1 ante (in 2 hands I'd have been forced all-in).

This freeroll is actually great value. If you don't hit a ticket from the spin they are only 10 tokens to buy ($0.10 value) so if you buy 100 tickets ($10 value) and play the morning game with 6000 players you should win 10 $5 BLAST tickets on average and with 10 tickets you should cash 3-4 times counting 2nd or 3rd place cashes for $25 or $50 spins.
Let's be conservative and say $30-$40 on average for $10 in freeroll tickets.
Once you get a feel for these games the numbers go up and you always have the slim shot at a monster spin.

I tbink it s the longest promotion ever in 888 , it cost less than the others and prizes are fixed already or limited.

Finally won another ticket today and converted into $10.

Great promotion, beats the hell out of scrambling for a bunch of $0.30 and $0.60 wins with the occasional slightly bigger win you get with regular $3k freerolls.

I've won $5 tickets several times in these tournaments, but unfortunately was only able to make a profit once.
I get knocked out all the time.:(
but the struggle continues.
good luck at the tables!:)

Nah i'd rather win 30 cents than nothing with this 5$ blast ticket
And this could only be great promotion if it'd not exist anymore ...
Therefore i wonder how much time it takes for 888 to get tired of this "magnificent event" and come up with something new ...

I agree that the old model wheel was much more interesting. cash prizes in freerolls looked much more attractive for more participants.
by the way, this blast roulette for me personally is a complete shit. kept falling out the trash. 💀🔫

Another $5 ticket today, but this time from the $1k game that only gives 200 tickets.

I've only played a few of the $1k games since as someone pointed out I wasn't showing satellites (it must have been unclicked since the last updated) and these are way harder than the $3k games and take about 30 minutes longer too.

I'll try my luck with this ticket a bit later.:)
