RBP's FAQ does state that FT 'fees' may be deducted from eligible rakeback amounts. Guess there is a 'fee' for getting rakeback, in addition to paying rake. ... Kinda like the banks today that charge extra fees for collecting payments ....

I didnt want to take the time to read all the post but heres what i did to get rakeback. Hope this helps some of you people.

I already had an account there:

Step 1: Sign up at rakebackpro's.
Step 2: Email support. In the email just say that you werent aware of rakeback when you signed up. Tell them that you would like to get it and if there not willing to give it to you that you will happily go somewhere else for it. You like there site but rakeback is important to you.
Step 3: Wait for the email letting you get rakeback.

Thats all i did and i had rakeback in 3 days. Im a micro player also.




I have a question does PS let you get rakeback after signing up without it?

PS hasnt got a rakeback system, but apparently their VIP system is equivalent to rakeback.

I paid my 50 cent rake to play the OFC $5.50 game Sunday. My rakeback reward...? My rakeback deficit has gone from -$.48 to -$1.08 ... my rakeback account got charged 60 cents for participating.



Since I don't play much at FT (and this just adds to my reasons) ... I'm just curious if those who play CC's 'money added' games realize that if you have a rakeback account, you are actually paying MORE than the stated rake.

Sure, it's not much in the scope of the world ... but it's just one more poke in the eye with a sharp stick by the poker sites who would have you believe they are REALLY doing something for you ... :rofl: ... (read the fine print boyz and girlz...)

Bottom line ... I've played stud hi ring games this week (and paid full rake accordingly). I played the CC Friday Variety game and the OFC and paid full rake both times. FT has not only kept the full amount of all rake that I paid ... but have also placed a -$1.08 deficit on my rakeback account ... In other words... I need to pay Full Tilt an additional ~$4.00 in rake in order to BREAK EVEN on rakeback before I'll get ONE CENT back (maybe)... what a deal !!!

BTW --- it's been three days and RBP's have not responded to my e-mail query about the deficit.... yet their site says: "Boost your Full Tilt Poker bankroll by taking advantage of the best rake back offer in online poker. If you want to get in contact with us send your e-mails to RakebackPros Support". Maybe I'm over-anticipating when I expected that I might receive a reply. After all, it only said I could e-mail them ... didn't say they would reply.

There's 2 sides to every story WVH. Your RB is gr8, no doubt, but not that many who have asked about RB are in the category that you are. They seem to be the regular micro players expecting to get enough back to play a CC buy-in or so. Maybe to even get enough back to SS a NL table ... once ...

Yep, RB is definitely wasted on me, but I'm not alone in how the RB is computed that affects the smallish player. Aren't those players entitled to the facts about their 'anticipated' RB? Or am I tapping the tank ??

Your stats are over ~20k hands at 100nl. Impressive I guess. But how many here have a BR of 100nl x 100 x 15-25BI ?? Isn't that approx a minimum $1,500 to $2,500 BR? A lot of posters in these RB threads are those who scramble to make CC buy-ins and openly admit those buy-ins are in the nosebleed section for them?

My story isn't unique ... and it's not just 'my opinion'. Chasing RB for the small player on FT seems to be futile.

Not futile in the least. If you play 2nl you'll earn well over 1 BB/100 hands played. So if you play 2nl that's more than $8 for 20K hands (my guess is that it would be closer to $10 per 20K hands). $10 is 5 BIs for 2nl. Winning an extra 5 BIs a month for a micro player palying 20K hands is ****ING huge. That player can be break even and double his BR (assuming he started with $40 for 20 BIs) in ~80K hands.

RB is great for ANYONE who actually plays poker. You don't, so it's wasted on you.

I'm with WV. I'm primarily a 50NL player who just started putting in respectable volume. I've only been getting RB since the first of the year.

All I got to say is don't even look at what RBPs site says for rakeback nevadanick, its wrong, completely wrong. My first week since getting it shows me as -12cents but I got a payment of 1.01. It also doesn't matter if you have negative stats from before you were accepted for rakeback, all that matters is what you have played since that day. But yes if you playin money added and guarantees that aren't met then it may be deducted from your rb. But RBPs site shows as deducting for CC freerolls and other stuff which actually doesn't happen.

^^^ This is true, the numbers at RB are wrong, in my experience on the low side (as if they're deducting things that FT doesn't actually deduct). For example, in my screenshot above for the week ending 03-01, it shows me earning $58.95. But my payment for that week was actually $71.80.

According to PT3 I played more then I thought I did. 3k hands of 2nl from Feb 23 to Mar 1. MGR of $9.66. I dont know if MGR works the same as the way they give out FTPs(1 point for every $1 collected in rake for hands u were dealt) so I dont know if I cleared any of my bonus during that time. I was workin on a $10 bonus at the time. Im pretty sure I cleared at least $1 of it tho.

Yeah and MGR of $9.66 (PT3 is always really close for me) should have been rb have been like $2.60. So using those number that means at 2nl you're getting slightly more than 2BB/100. That's a huge amount of rb. Something like $8.50 per 10K hands. So sick how they rape the micro players with rake.
