Maybe this is a stupid question...but how can you get negative rackback? Not including using FTP points, of course.

I just started receiving RB and I'm in the plus...just curious how that happens?
Well from what i get, and it has to do with playing MTTS, maybe SNGs..
You only get it, if your main game is a Ring game.
I hope it helped...

Sorry - no.

Rakeback can be partially negative if you:

  • are clearing a bonus
  • playing tourneys with overlay (like freerolls or money added tourneys)
The negative RB will NOT be deducted of you bankroll - it just counts against the RB you earn.

WV posted about this earlier ITT.

That number goes back further than the last week then. Private FRs do not effect MGR.

Things that do effect MGR include:
Cashing out (check or bank wire fee)
FTP sponsored FRs
Tournaments with overlays
Using FT points with the exception of using them for tourney BIs (unless the above applies)
Clearing bonuses (except the mid / end of year IM bonuses)

Can't think of anything else right now although there certainly could be more to add.

rakeback?

possible answer is you set it up before applying for rakeback it usually has to be a new account and sometimes they want it with their own links to make money! i suggest maybe creating a new account maybe your wife or a friend and contacting rakeback to get their benefits this time depending on amounts you play at tables. can be a decent piece of change each week gl to you! plug away! most of those rakeback sites usually offer decent freerolls to their players!:)

I know OP issues have been solved, but for anyone else having any... Do not do this!
All that will come out of it is more issues.

Horrible derail moved to the lounge by Sean, search for it if you must. OP's situation has been resolved, ruining a great running joke. :dong: Is there any reason for this thread to continue?

Thread title says endless so it must never end imo. Emailing FTP now to see if I can get rb removed from cAPS' account for the good of the thread.

Actually there really is tons of good info throughout this thread relating to getting rb added to an existing account, how rb works, what effects your MGR if you have rb, and the fact that some people just don't deserve rb but get it anyway.

I agree with WVHillbilly, this thread has a lot of good info...candidate for Golden Archives IMHO if the 30-day moratorium is reached...

I would like to keep this thread open for the obvious LOLZ that continue to come.

WVH, how's that email to FT coming along? Any progress on getting cAPS rb removed?

FTP's response:

Re: Full Tilt Poker - Removal of Rakeback Inquiry (KMMxxxxxxxxxxxxxL0KM)

Hello Harlan,

Thanks for pointing out the error we made in giving your friend rakeback.

We have contacted our preferred affiliate partner, RakeBackPros.com, in an attempt to remove rakeback from his account and get the thread at cardschat.com back on track. We have sent his player details to RakeBackPros.com and they will remove him from their player list shortly.

Let us know if you have any other questions or if we can do anything else to bring the lolz at cardschat.com.

Regards,

Zbigniew

Woohoo!!!
I had just about given up. I took a lot of tips and advice from this thread, and emailed FT one more time. Low and behold, 3 days later I got this email back from them. Never thought I'd see the day! Thanks to CC and all the members who posted in this thread.

Hello Thomas,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

Your player account FEARFACTOR4 is now set up to receive rakeback from our third party affiliate at rakebackpros.

You will now earn rakeback on all your future play at Full Tilt.

Your rakeback payment is made to your account every Friday.

Please contact rakebackpros for more information about your rakeback account.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We're always here to help.

Regards,

Kevin

Hello. I have signed up at Rakeback Pros. I have waited a long time. When I first set up my account on Full Tilt, I was not aware of rakeback. I enjoy playing at Full Tilt, but without rakeback I consider it a secondary site. It is unfair, in my opinion, to deny rakeback to a loyal player, while granting it to a newcomer. I guess what I am saying, is I would play a lot more if I was getting rakeback. I currently play at least 8 hours a day. If you can offer me rakeback, please respond.
Sincerely,

FEARFACTOR4

Hello Thomas,

Thanks for getting in contact with us about rakeback.

Although Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players, our preferred affiliate partner RakeBackPros.com offers rakeback to players who sign up through their website with Full Tilt Poker.

We’ve sent your player details to RakeBackPros.com and they will be in direct contact with you.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We're always here to help.

Isidoro

Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to get rakeback on my existing account. I don't think I'm linked to any affiliate. I know I would play much more if I had rakeback. Please let me know.
Thanks,
(FEARFACTOR4 on Full Tilt)
