a thought

For those who have been denied rakeback. One possibility is,Tell the site to close your account, that you wont be playing there anymore.Wait about a year,(even longer if you want),then join a rakeback site that has the poker site you want rakeback from, then join the poker site, making a new account.I got a rakeback account at one site with this method, havnt tried it on more than one yet,but it worked. This method will not work at Ultimatebet or Absolute poker since their recent policy change.
If you have sites you rarely play at,ya may as well just close it,rejoin thru a rakeback site, after a year or longer after closing it...Actually a year seems like a long time to wait, but really its not long at all,it passes very quickly.

You mean after being accepted? No, once accepted you have it permanently. If you're talking about after being denied, then I'd probably not bug them monthly, but maybe every few months.

Yay for TOS violations. Get caught doing this and you could lose your account and even your funds. There's no statute of limitations, you don't qualify for a new account after waiting a year. Not something to be recommended to others in any case.

I notice rb pros have updated there site. I just went straight through them filling in my ft user name and waiting a few days. Well I have actually asked them before and had no joy, but definetly worth a go.

You need to get a new account with a new ip address, diffrent name, everything diffrent, then u can sign up for any rake website. I have a few friends that have done this successfully and are getting rakeback every week. Don't bother with ur account as it is. erase it from ur computer, change ur ipaddress and create a totally diffrent account.

Have they cashed out? I can see this going wrong in so many ways.

Exactly. I really wish people would stop promoting the outright violation of sites' TOS. Don't we have a policy about that around here?

I'm not getting 27% rakeback from rakebackpros - only took about a week from me setting up my account to being approved for rakeback.

You guys need to stop complaining and do something about it.

Like, withdraw all your monnies from FT, deposit somewhere with 50% rakeback and just play that way.

Then if you still want to you can e-mail FT every month that you'll come back once they get you rakeback. A coordinated effort from people itt with the withdrawals/emails on the same date would have a bigger effect I'm sure.

But anyway, you're losing money while playing w/o rakeback, and lots of it.

I plan on doing exactly this. I am gonna move money over to PS and maybe some to UB. I won;t get RB at either one of those sites but they have the games I play in and I will be able to play more at those sites.

I hate for anyone to think they can do these things and potentially increase their chances of getting rb because it will not help at all. There are people FT earns a hell of a lot more rake on than us who have done that to no avail. There is a thread at 2+2 where people are listing the rake FT is losing and it has had zero impact.

The bottom line is - and we have all said it a gazillion times - if you signed up for FT through an affiliate link and deposited within 60 days there is nothing you can do to get rb there. Multiple emails, withdrawing funds, threatening to never play there again - it is all futile and a total waste of anyone's time. they have contracts with their affiliates that they have to honor - and they are not going to pay double rb on your account just to get you to play there.

They have offered a very few select people a bonus priogram - but they won;t give it to you if you ask for it no matter what you say to them. (I suspecct it is only to people whose affiliate is not being paid for whatever reason).

I would recommend PS - their bonus program is nowhere near as good as rb for low and mid stake players but it is better than nothing.

There is no good reason to move money from FT with no rakeback to UB with no rakeback. at least FT still has the Iron Man program.

I would move it to UB only because it would allow me to play PLO8 there at a higher level. I have emailed support directly to try and get RB there. If they say no than I will most likely move everything to PS.

Can the VIP/VPP be beneficial to a micro player though?

I may also look into buying some poker software through player to player transfer. Have to look more into that.

^^^ This x1000.

IMO there's no good reason to move money to Ultimatebet/Absolute Poker. Now that CC doesn't have Ultimatebet events I won't be playing there anymore. And although I have 33% RB at Absolute Poker, I still won't put any money there.

FT and PS are pretty much the only sites that get my money these days.

.

It is better than nothing - and initially because of the Stellar rewards it is quite good. Once you get to the 2nd $50 reward it slows down though.

I am in the same boat as you are and my first choice would be to play at PS. I love everything about them more than FT. However I am forced to play at FT because the $11 sng's are a hell of a lot softer there than PS and I lose money by playing at PS against too many regs. I hate that I can't play there.

So, one question...
I registered using CC, is there any way I could get rakeback without making a new account? Has anyone managed to do this?

No - you will not be able to get rb at FT. (But you will get to play in those nice huge freerolls with small fields)
