The World Poker Tour announced two more stops for the second half of its 24th season.

Back to Jacksonville
The WPT returns to Jacksonville later this summer with its bestbet Scramble Championship at bestbet Jacksonville Aug. 20 through Sept. 9.
The series rolls to a boil with the $5,000 Championship event that starts Sept. 4. The final table will be live-streamed Sept. 9.
“Bestbet Jacksonville has long been a staple on the World Poker Tour,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “We are proud to return for the WPT bestbet Scramble Championship and look forward to crowning our next champion in Jacksonville.”
Besides the championship event, which carries a $1 million guarantee, the $1,700 mystery bounty with a $300,000 guarantee will be a banger. First of three starting flights begin August. 27.
Other festival highlights include:
- Aug. 20: $400 $200,000 guarantee opener. Final table will be live-streamed.
- Sept. 2: $500 heads-up event.
- Sept. 1; $300 Ladies event. Final table will be live-streamed.
- Aug. 24: $300 Seniors event.

Down under
Then starting Sept. 10, the WPT heads all the way to The Star Sydney casino for the WPT Australia festival scheduled to run to the end of the month.
The full schedule has yet to be released, but the known highlights are the AUD $1,500 buy-in WPT Prime Australia Championship from Sept. 17-22, and the AUD $5,000 buy-in WPT Australia Championship from Sept. 24-30.
Final tables for both events will be live-streamed.
The festival will also feature an AUD $500 Ladies Australian Championship on Sept. 15-16, alongside a wide range of Pot Limit Omaha, bounty, and other popular tournament formats.
