This exactly:D:eek:

Thanks for that MM.

i get 3bb on 5nl so maybe could get 2bb on 10nl but no way could survive 25-50nl

Which pretty much crush my motivation to play since yesterday:( (zero hands today)

Then get your BR to an amount you are very comfy with for 5nl or 10nl and use further profits for mtts and win sh1tloads  :eating:

Agree, 4bb is crushing on 25nl zoom.

I guess the other solution is go rakeback pro but be BE or barely winning is swingy as hell.

So what, i need to look on to mtts/sng's and take MM approach?

Ha, beat you:)

I think going to take the day off from poker and tomorrow decide what to do.

Is funny because yesterday get a extra income and was thinking to deposit like $50 to boost BR, but then start thinking about long term on cash and blows my mind.

Yeah seems pretty hard to make a decent amount playing cash atm, maybe on a softer site it would be OK idk, that's why I switched to playing some mtts and sticking at cash levels I know I can beat.

Villain is a reg, after he don´t 3b pre, what hands he could continue on turn considering i´m a nit and flop hit hard my range?
Was thinking KQc/AQc/33/TJc so turn card i think is the worst, so what we do after that?
I think if i bet turn he could raise there with a weaker two pair but with any club, but also with all hands that beat me so not sure best line

When MP1 limp/re-raises it looks like JJ+/AK a lot, so I'm wary. Without reads the call is probably fine preflop. On the flop, why are we raising? It basically turns our hand into a bluff. I highly doubt he limp/rr something like 88 or A7 and sees this flop and is like "YES, let's get it in!!!" Flat flop, play poker on the turn and river.

Good to know. My thoughts were on such a low board he wouldn't have paired considering I put him on K10 + so I better re-raise here and try to take the lot before he pairs. Is that just me racing to the finish? I tend to do that or so my wife says....

I had also been representing multiple hands as I had won with a set of 3's earlier in the game.

hahaha awesome.

I think like scourrge said raising flop is more of a bluff because we can't really raise for value. any broadway combo that is unpaired probably just fold and JJ+ continue maybe even TT+ which crushes us.

welcome to CC and good luck man

Posting this hand here because the Low stakes thread is dusty AF and isn't active enough :p

like to hear your thoughts. Maybe if I don't check here after the bet and 3bet go in AA may not jam here on this flop or ... I mean I chalk it up to a cooler but id like to hear other lines and opinions.

Well played IMO. Got to drag other guy along with the flat. I do that all the time although it is risky cause the board is wet and Alot of the turn cards will be action killers. good thing they both had a hand and you GII on the flop.

Okay but what do you think about a line where I check here like I did but then when bb bets and the btn flush draw 3bets and I flat to induce a shove from sb with my 222 to an overpair like I did, what do you think about if rather than flatting the 3bet with 222 we 4bet? I mean almost always AA still doesn't fold here with the effective size of villain and mine and his stack. hes like 700bb deep and Im sure AA always pushes here. thoughts?

Thoughts are, if you really crush the flop amd someone makes a bet and u have someone behind you. Definitely flat to get more action. When you raise with someone to acyt behind you, alot of the time overpairs are snap folding. Esp if the players are any descent. Flat to make it look like you are drawing or unsure andthen get it in on turn somehow where pot will be bigger and everyone will feel more committed.

you don't want him to fold AA…. why would we want to fold out a hand with 2 outs?

its played fine but probably default to 3bet flop, since there are heaps of action killers/bricks that make it harder to get paid.

Progress...I think. ....Lifetime I'm still negative at ring. Way positive at tourney.

For several years I have always been up 1 BI at every ring session I have played. Every one. But for some reason equating in some way to greed, I have stayed till I lost that BI, and the winnings. It got bad when I would BI again, and do it again. And that led to me considering myself a total noob at ring.

So first I stopped that 2nd BI. Mental thing really, I didn't want to do it again without making a serious attempt to understand what went wrong. That stopped most of my serious bleeding.

The progress has come from a new 'philosophy'. I stop a session when I have doubled that 1 BI. For the time being, I am doing that sort of religiously.

Zone at Bovada, $5, I come in short on 2 tables, so the total is $5, I stop when I have $10+. So far I am good for February, and was good for January. I have to start the cheap Zone game half the days, so I have dabbled in the $25 Zone games with no ill effect. That game seems to be going 24/7. But I am not rolled for that game just yet, so even tho I have no fear of it, I don't dabble daily.

For those of you who might not know, Zone is like RUSH, or ZOOM. Except at Bovada there is no tracker/HUD.

Why are you short stacking tho? Maybe limit your sessions by time if fatigue is a factor, win stops seem a bit silly imo

Short stacking keeps me tighter when I first sit down. I have had a couple of sessions where I was running like gawd, and did not get up and stop at 2x, but on more than 1 occasion when I do that I end up with huge hits which tilt me.

Mostly I am taking this as a way to learn how I deal with ring. For years I have done fine at MTT's, and SnG's, and then lost bundles at ring. I want to stop those losses, and this is working.

More on short stacking; I have never bought the argument for full buy-ins and auto top offs. Very likely, a good part of that was my losing ways. Certainly something I can re-evaluate later.

if you make better decisions than our opponents then having a larger effective stack translates to winning more, how do you disagree?
