If you learn to play any game for $10-$20 and play in such a way that there is no loss, ... That is, there will be no profit, but the main thing is that there will be no loss. Is this realistic? ... I think it is. At least you can eat and drink for free. Or not? :)
Can such manipulation be attributed to the subtype of players who ‘count cards’ ... a new subtype, ‘players who don't count cards but eat and drink a lot’. Security might kick your ass.

You mean learning how to play with the goal of just breaking even?
Well, I guess is a +EV maneuver for someone who can be satisfied with the fun and the free food ;).

No I don't think what the thred starter is talking about is realistic at all. Maybe if you have hunt down every promotion and every free comb then you can come near.
