I drink alcohol very rarely, and very little, provided there are reasons to celebrate. gambling, whether at home or in a casino, is not a sufficient reason for me to drink alcohol.

If gambling is entertainment for you, then I think alcohol in small quantities can be acceptable. But only in small quantities. Personally, I don't drink alcohol, I'm perfectly fine without it

I paid dearly for playing drunk. Getting drunk for me is tantamount to losing my bankroll. Moreover, I can become angry and dangerous to others. Hi all, if you don't mind, let me add my two cents as a casino representative.
A drink can make sessions feel more entertaining but it also lowers control and can lead to chasing losses or making reckless bets faster than expected. Of course... the key is knowing your limits and keeping gambling fun, not emotional

I rarely drink alcohol when I'm playing poker or at a casino. I always need to keep my bankroll and my actions under control and make thoughtful decisions. That's why I don't recommend drinking alcohol to anyone who wants to be a successful player.

You had me at alcohol. LOL. I do both. Depending on the game, the mood, the time, the day etc etc ....I think I play better when drinking but others may disagree. I play way less nitty but may go overboard to a calling station. Try to find the happy medium.
