Thanks for the basic information! I had no idea what was going on when I saw it live at the casino. :)

The least intimidating game you said? :ROFLMAO:.
Honestly, before CC and casino.us merger, Baccarat was the most intimidating casino game for me. I've always seen its tables in casinos, especially in HR sections and just quickly looked the other way, always postponing a learning session.
After the merger, I created a thread asking for info about what I called a "mysterious" game to me. Thanks to many members, I finally learned the basics and even practiced on casino.us.
Now, you come up with this lesson and made it even more interesting. You actually clarified what didn't make any sense to me when I was practicing: I had no idea when the banker should hit/ stand or why.
Thanks a lot Chris.
I thought this said "least intimidating too" and then they begin explaining "easy" rules of this happens and that happens. I thought the least intimidating was slots because you just press a button or pull a lever. No thinking needed. xD

I've never played this game, but with such a detailed description of how to play, I think I'll give it a try. All I knew about this game was that the word “baccarat” means zero in Italian.

A fantastic, fast-paced, and very dynamic game. The key is to stay disciplined and stick to your limits.

I tried this game for the first time a few days ago. It’s quite simple, but at the same time very interesting. In theory, it would be interesting to run an experiment and apply the Martingale strategy to it.

I'm not sure that I totally understand this game, but will practice and see how it goes. I've been interested in trying this game ever since that whole Phil Ivey scandal. Kudos to @CRStals for these great series. It really is opening up a whole new world for me beyond poker.

I knew absolutely nothing about baccarat.
To tell the truth, I always imagined it was a variant of poker.
It seemed like a really fun game that doesn't require much calculation or concentration.
Good to play while having some cocktails. :)

It’s a good game for first-time players. However, I doubt that those with experience of casino gaming would be willing to spend their money on games like this. That said, I think it’s generally a good way to have a bit of fun for players who are used to relying on their intuition.

I like games with simple rules. Baccarat is just such a game. a game without stress, simple, dynamic and fast. The main thing is not to spend more than you can and this is what will allow you to enjoy the game.

I never understood the game as my only exposure to it was through the James Bond movies (where ridiculous sums were won or lost on a single hand:ROFLMAO:), nice to have a basic understanding now of what is actually a simple game - thanks for the guide!

Never played the game in my life. After reading the tutorial I think I can manage to play. Just trying to remember all of this could be my biggest challange when getting started. After playing for a few days , weeks , months (😂) I'm sure the "Banker takes a card if" rules like this copy paste will be memorized.

  • If the Player's hand has a value between Zero and Five, the dealer will deal a third card to the player's hand
  • The delaer will draw a third card for the Banker's hand using more complicated rules. Below are the situations based on the banker's hand having a value of:
Zero to Two - Banker ALWAYS gets a third card
Three - Banker draws if the Player's third card is anything BUT an Eight
Four - Banker draws if the Player's third card falls between Two and Seven
Five - Banker draws if the Player's third card falls beteween Four and Seven
Six - Banker draws if the Player's third card is either a Six or Seven
Seven to Nine - Banker stands
  • If a hand equals Ten or more, the first digit is dropped, so Twelve is scored as a Two
  • The hand closest to Nine wins.
I will need to print it out and have handy when first playing 😂.... But the object of winning the hand is simple enough. 🤪

Peace
Tony

I also used to think that this is a type of poker. And I thought that everything was very complicated. But in fact the game is not complicated, especially if you take into account the explanations that you provided in this learning series. I think this is definitely more than enough to start with :)

I have never played Baccarat. I have only watched others play a few times, and the game was completely incomprehensible to me. But, thanks to such a wonderful instruction, I already have an understanding of the basics of the game and I think that now I will be able to play it on my own. Cool :)
