My casino trips

I think in October I broke even and a couple of weeks ago in Nov I had a small loss. Nothing too exciting to report lately.

I am going for my final trip in 2025 in a couple of weeks. They are having a 5x tier rewards multiplier so I will secure my Diamond Plus status for 2026.

Really looking forward to the trip to Atlantis in January - will definitely post a lot of pics after that trip!

Im currently really enjoying Vegas Matt videos and of course Lady Luck - All Aboard seems to be the popular slot currently followed by usual faves Mo Mummy and Huff n Puff.

I went to the casino in Dec and actually had a profit for a change lol. I think I won about $140.

Really excited about the trip to Atlantis in 2 weeks. Will definitely post some pics for that trip!

I am so looking forward to hearing about your trip Debi, i miss your exploits, it remains to this day probably the best stuff i have ever read on CC and it was so well described, I felt like i was there!

My wife and I have cut back on our casino visits…combination of the weather, being under the weather and opportunities to be with our grandchildren…but we are looking forward to going to Casino Rama for our anniversary mid January…hope to get some poker in…after dinner, we usually play the slots because my wife does not play any other casino games…actually, we often donate a hundred dollars to the roulette table.

Congrats on the win, I recently put $400 into a machine with the plan to make $5.00 bets, I hit the feature twice for no significant wins. My plan was to make the $5.00 bets and bail after a significant win.

I left with nothing.

I have never made bets as high as $5 except one time at Harrah's Cherokee - and that was an accident. I had no idea I had accidentally bet $5. The good news is I hit something big and won over $500 on that single spin. 🤣

I wish I could make accidents like that. 🤣

I don't normally bet over $1.00 at a time, my plan was to blow the $400.00 trying to hit one good feature win.

I saw a woman a few weeks prior making $5.00 bets and twice she hit the feature and won over $1K on both.

It is very tempting sometimes. A lot of players around me are betting $7.50 or higher.

I have never been lucky at slots - but it could be because I don't have the patience to stay long enough. My cousin Andy though - that guy was the luckiest MF I've ever seen when it comes to slots. Every time we'd all go to the casino, we'd be in the bar or something - he'd disappear for 5 minutes, come back and say, "I just won $400 bucks on that machine." Go away again, come back a few minutes later, "I just won $1000!" Like... wth guy?? So we made him buy our drinks, and dinner. (Hey, it's family, we can do that 🤣 )

I had fun on my monthly trip to Harrah's a couple of weeks ago. I ended up about $120 up for the day.

Will report on my trip to Atlantis when I have time!

Sounds like your friend definitely had the better trip this time 😂 That feeling when you realize you forgot to put your card in after 30 minutes is brutal though! Hopefully the cruise treats you better, especially at the blackjack tables. Good luck and have fun! 🍀
 
It’s hard to explain the feeling you get when playing a machine; at times you win, then you lose—winning a bit more, losing a bit more—but you enjoy it and time flies, even when you're losing. It really depends on the specific machine, though. I remember the *Stargate* one—I loved that machine: the bonuses, the colors, the constant chances to win. I never saw it again. They took it out because it offered too many opportunities; in the long run, the house still won, but not by much, and that’s why they removed it.
 
Almost all of my casino trips have poor results . I spend 60 to 70 dollars spinning the slots trying to get a food voucher for a burger , fries and a drink !
 
I didn't realize I was so far behind on updates! Atlantis was amazing and we will be going back in January again. The royal Hotel is beautiful! We enjoyed some poolside lounging, good food and fun times in the casino. It was very easy to earn the credits needed for the trip to be free - we did that on the 1st day.

I have done okay on my monthly trips - some wins and losses, but nothing big either way.

I went to Vegas last week with Melanie (my closest friend) and we stayed at Caesars. Had some great food (Peter Lueger's is awesome!) and fun times playing slots as usual. There was a 10x tier credit multiplier so I reached my status for the year while there.

This happened - so sad it was $37 too much lol. (Got tax forms).
