Did you at least ask what the buy in was???

👍
🤣🤣🤣
That's so funny, lol. Would you join and make the better of the situation if they accepted? Assuming that you went downstairs and got the room mistake sorted out.

By the sound of it they had already lost the shirts off their backs,
I'm thinking they may not have been good players. 😛

Good opportunity to take their underwear. Send the wife to your room and join 🤣.

It depends, how much time are you going to spend in the room?

If you are only going to sleep there then no reason to upgrade, but if you are going to be doing some work, or playing poker, or hanging out with friends, etc - then the suite is a great deal.
I thought the same thing. It all depends on what you need the number for and what you plan to do in it.

Yep, that's what it comes down to.
Like I said, if it was up to me, a regular room would've been enough since I usually only spend a few hours of sleep in it.

Keep the wife with you, someone is needed to mix the drinks and prepare the snacks. 😉 😛

True if she doesn't mind looking at Asian wiggling "objects" 🤪😂.

Hello again 🙂.
This one is a true little story.

There was a big poker event at the Borgata (AC) and I decided to go. Once there, I couldn't even get to the parking lot as crowded as it was. So, I decided to go park at the nearest casino and take one of those little buses that go around to go back. Somehow, I ended up at the Taj. The parking lot was almost empty. I got curious and I went inside. There were people there but a lot less than usual. Then I remembered that I had a Taj card and went to the front desk to see, with very little conviction, if I have a room as comp. I had played there (One time) a few months earlier.
Surprisingly, the girl said: "Sure you do sir, would you like to check in?". As I was thinking about it (I had no room at the Borgata), she added: "Oh, I can even upgrade it to a suite if you want to only pay its tax".
That's what competition does!

What would you do? Pay $35 for a suite? Or settle for a regular free room?

PS: Regular room = $295 a night on weekends and special events.

I would pay $35 for a suite all day long!

And you would be right. Just those couple of hours in that huge jacuzzi were worth the world 😜.

I mean it really depends if you have a lot of money you just do it and if you not have a lot of money you just think about how much time you will spend at the suite and then decide.

In retrospect I think this might have something to do with how Asians handle cheating in games? Or maybe I'm just stereotyping...

I think I'd take the $35 and look for a hostel with lots of parties nearby! (just kidding)

Within the context, I think it would be worth the price... Well, obviously "free to injections in the forehead" is better than paying anything, but in the end it's not that expensive and it would also depend on how you use the room!

I think the better conditions are worth $35. I would pay the extra.
I honestly did not think about any "conditions". But afterwards, I certainly did not regret it.

Before the experience. I wasn't able to say anything like that, but the following day. I started hoping for the same opportunity 😋🤣.

I would order myself a beer.
You can live with beer even in the car.
Beer is silent and good, especially when it's cold.
Do you like beer?
How much beer can you buy for $35 in your area?

I love beer, and at that time, I could've bought about 40 beers with $35, but that's not the point.
Have you ever stayed in a luxury suite? With a huge Jacuzzi too? Even though it was just for 24 hours, it was an unforgetable experience.
Beer is something you can have everyday.

as others noted ,with no friends and companions around i would save the 35 dollars and likely use it to help with a cash table buyin . when in a town to gamble/play poker i'm not really gonna be spending much time in the hotel room !

That makes a lot of sense. As I've said before, if I was alone, I wouldn't have cared at all, I only spend a couple of hours in the room anyway.

I’d probably take the suite for $35, especially if I’m already staying there. Even if I only use it to sleep, having the extra space would still feel like a nice upgrade.
