The house always win in the long term. Players may win big on occasion, but as one continue playing, most players will lose more money than they win. Tho money is just a material belonging; but fun & excitement is priceless.
I agree. Satisfaction and excitement are priceless. That's why being a casino owner is so great. You allow people to experience priceless satisfaction and excitement for a “small fee” and feel pretty good about yourself at the same time 🙂YLAN said:The house always win in the long term. May I ask what bet size you're playing when you win $1K-3K?Debi said:For me it is fun entertainment - I love playing blackjack and slots. There is a side game of 3 card poker on most blackjack tables now so I add that in to get a fun poker fix. It makes it much more fun imo.
With slots it is the thrill of the possibility of a nice hit. I usually have a decent win a couple of times a year, (so far that range is $1k-3k) - but chances for much more. I am very disciplined and have a budget I never exceed so I don't have to deal with the negative emotion of spending more than I should.
I don't think that pleasure and excitement are priceless. In our short lives, everything has its price, and we have to pay for everything. I don't know about you, but I paid a lot of money for my pleasure and excitement, but I definitely didn't lose more than $20,000... I hope... 🙄YLAN said:The house always win in the long term. I think it generally depends on the standard of living in a particular country. If people live comfortably, then casinos are entertainment for them, something they are willing to pay for, and generally the money spent is not a problem for them. If we talk about less affluent countries where ordinary people cannot afford such entertainment, casinos are, to a certain extent, a lure for those who want to make money, who want easy and quick money. We all know very well how this easy and quick money ends.YLAN said:The house always win in the long term.
