Razor is pretty good. They are gaming mice which means precision and awesome grip and genral hand feel. Myself I use the Mx518 gaming mouse, but then again I dont have a laptop. And yes USB > wireless any day.

Except ! Razor brake down a lot. I have a lot of friends who use Razors and some of them have taken their mouse back 3 times already cause of brakedowns, usually in the same part. The cord mostly. They get new mouses from the same line and they brake down again.

So imo just get a good comfortable mouse, not too fancy. Like the one ChuckTs posted in his 2nd post.

Weird I have had 2 razor mice each for over 2 years and never a problem. They sell them at Best Buy and the company website is www.razerzone.com

Epic ! (for me)

Ok I have to post this since it's the most epic and enjoyable session I have ever played. I apologize for the rant above I should've just kept it to 1 post.

So like I mentioned I set out to play 2 hours. I ended up playing 173 minutes, so close to 3. This is a first for me since I generally quit after around 1. Also the biggest amount of hands obv. So I was down $35 at one point (3.5 BI) and made an epic comeback with a good run of cards and villains stacking. Then made some minor mistakes, and a cooler or 2 and was down a buy in for a while till the end where I flopped quads, for a 66c pot ! A set that rivered a boat and villain stacked on river with a straight. And another set. So Yes I made it, I made it to +$7 even with a huge $14 rake lol.

I don't care what you say, I'm proud that I played through the beats, played level head for such a long time and came out ahead. I know vanq said I couldn't but I JUST have to post this graph. Ok it's nothing like what you big guys do every day but I'm glad I made it.

It says 2 days cause it's now technically 1 am and I should really get to bed

Ever consider a trackball Switch? I love my Trackman when I'm playing. With FT shortcuts doing my bet sizing, I just fine tune with the wheel and I'm good. Much easier on the wrist than a mouse imo.

I think you can get bet pot shortcuts with almost any mouse that has a wheel and a right mouse button. imo.
At least on a limited number of sites.

i dont even know what a trackball is, im not up on my mouse lingo

Although i do use a scroll wheel to do all my bet sizing on the pc (1 reason why i want a mouse, since i dont like typing in the numbers as much since i make more mistakes, such as forgetting the . and raising to 15 instead of 1.50)

I have developed a mega awsome tweak to my HU game aswell, when regs sit opposite me now, im raising 100% buttons, and 3 betting >20%, but not playing as loose post flop, nor stacking light pre. But just by being really aggro when 3 betting i have now found that people seem to think im bluffing constantly, had a reg stack 3's into me preflop earlier (shame he was right since i had a,k), had someone else stack after calling a triple barrel with qj on a a,k,q board (i had 3 bet j,t). It seriously makes the game so so much easier by winning so much preflop and in 3 bet pots since peple have no idea how to play 3 bet pots

This is the trackball that I have: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/trackballs/devices/166&cl=us,en . You control the cursor with your thumb instead of moving your wrists. Takes a little getting used to but I wouldn't want to play without it.

Ha ha! I had the same thing happen last night. K/K < A/5s all-in-pre-flop. But it was only a $107 pot.
Just one of over 3 BI's that walked away last night, never to be heard from again.

As for keyloggers, yeah they need to be installed on your computer. Known ones are detectable with a good antivirus. But new ones are undetectable until the antivirus company knows about them and adapts.

Packet sniffers however, can just monitor your wireless transmissions and steal data from your wireless transmissions.

Hey guys ... I felt good about my poker mindset so I fired up some tables. I am not sure what to say or do or think. Perhaps some advice? I just dropped -$138 in a matter of 31 hands so I shut the tables off. Not sure what to do anymore?

Hand 1 I posted here ... https://www.cardschat.com/forum/cash-game-hand-analysis-50/50nl-6max-qq-preflop-vs-action-136369/ (kinda giving it away sorry guys) , but I shoved QQ here and got called by AK and he hit, I lose.

Hand 2 was that I flopped a set of 4s and he flopped a set of Ks (he flatted by raise with KK on the btn preflop). I turned a boat, he called my shove obv with the nuts. Another stack.

Dude you need a break. Losing <3BIs, albeit in a short amount of time, should not make you have to quit out of anxiety.

Take a few days off, forget about poker, go do some other stuff that you really enjoy so you completely erase poker from your mind. Then come back refreshed and realize poker is just a game. Sometimes one can get really wrapped up in it. Then take a look at your game from a completely objective point of view.

What are your strengths?
What are your biggest weaknesses?
What needs tweaking?
Where are you losing the most money?

Watch Ed Miller's videos again and take your game back to the basics. Steal lots, play very positionally, keep your decisions stupidly simple. Do that, and the money will come. Then you can fine tune your game and really start making some adjustments.

I appreciate your specific insight into my Hands I posted, it makes me feel better that I did get my money in those situations I felt I got it in good to actually be the right move.

I'll take your advice but wont answer those questions until after some time away. I might be MIA from CC for a bit.

Well that's the thing. I know you know this, but you're creating these swings in your mind. You lost an entire buyin in one hand. You lost 6 in the last 3 days. Whatever. You know I'm not ragging on you, but trying to help you out here. You're just looking at all the negatives. Take down that "The End" stuff. Negative thinking will take you nowhere but down. Sometimes when I'm running bad, I look at 2+2 or stox posts where people are running crazy hot, or I look at my biggest winning days and replay my biggest winning hands. It not only reminds me how easy it is to make money, but how it feels. If you feel shitty all the time and mope and worry about "The End", then you'll do nothing but compound your problems.

Poker really is easy. The hardest part is getting over the swings.

You're a very smart guy and I know you'll do well. Again, take a break, forget about this silly game for a bit, and come back when you're refreshed

ysy! finally got my new home internet connection, so i can play some poker again. Kind of felt withdrawal symptoms after not playing for nearly 20 days.

Got a short 1 hour session yesterday at 50nl. Looks like i haven't lost it entirely. Love the red line...

Ice, you need to stop focusing on the big hands where you win or lose a stack. Oftentimes, there's just very little you can do about those. QQ vs. AK all in preflop, a set loosing to a strong draw or a set over set are hands where cards are the primary decider, not you or your opponent, so it's variance, and it's irrelevant to determine if you are long term winner or looser.

Consider this situation where you stack with an overpair in a pot that was 3bet preflop and villain hits a set. It sucks, but there's very little you can do to avoid it. What matters on the other hand is your bet sizing in the many smaller pots where you win with the overpair and villain does not hit his set. That's what will determine whether you profit in the long run when you play overpairs in 3bet pots. So that's what you should focus on, not the occasional big pot.

Same with set over set. You can't get away from those. What matters is that you make enough money when you hit a set and villain does not to make up for the few times where your set looses.

just play stakes you're overrolled for for a bit where if u get it in with AA preflop u don't even need to see the results because it won't upset u if u lose

Oh f'kin superb!!!!!

Household chores are definitely meant for girls...... Just been hoovering up the living room, and accidently hoovered up my laptop lead ffs!

I haven't got any insulation tape atm, does anyone know if 19v/4.5a is gonna hurt? It's the output lead from the transformer thats had the plastic torn off it

19v won't hurt unless you put your tongue on it (or any other wet body part as that reduces your body's resistance). it might tickle a little bit.

GRNER NOERYN DB <NDBO was already down 2.5 buy ins before this.

From the last 4 sessions I've been down 2-3 buy ins in the 30 mins in er... all 4
