I'm so bored with not playing. I can only watch so many videos on youtube and look over CC for so long before it gets tiresome.
I feel like re-depositing and playing again, but I'm not 100% sure if I should. I really want to start playing again but a part of me expects myself not to do well. I'm sure I can do well, but past negative results have me thinking other wise. On top of that, I really don't know what to play. I have no confidence in my game anymore. I really want to do well in an MTT just once, for personal satisfaction-it's something I've been wanting to accomplish ever since I started playing. Its the feeling of being victorious, knowing that I've actually accomplished something, that I was good enough. I hate to admit, I sometimes get jealous of CC MTT winners. Of course, I'm happy for them and it's not about the money or anything. I just want that feeling of accomplishment and I don't feel like I've reached it yet. I worry I never will and I wonder if it would be worth it to even continue trying.
Of course, I could just drop MTTs and just focus on SNGs and Ring Games, which I have a bit of confidence I can do well in. Its just, doing well in these don't give me the same level as satisfaction I'm looking for. Hell, I don't even know if I do 'well' in these either, maybe I'm fooling myself into thinking I do.
In a nutshell: I want to be an accomplished member, both on the forums and at the tables. Im sure I've established myself as a member...hopefully. I don't know, I might have to work on that. As a player, though, I don't feel I have. I'm not trying to prove anything to anyone except to myself. Of course, being an accomplished player would aslo help with me being an accomplished member. I sometimes feel silly giving advice relating to poker when I don't have the results to back it up.
So...I'm not sure if I should continue playing or just give it up.
