switch0723 said:whats your reasoning for shoving turn in hand 1?
Hmmm i've been thinking about this alot and the turn shove was basically because the bet/call then check line sucks so much i'm basically giving him the green light to shove 100% of his range as i'm basically saying I don't have a clue what to do. I didn't want to give up on the flop to a single min raise then on the turn I just thought i'd rather shove and him call with KQ than check/fold.
UTG i'm thinking he has 77+ (I think that's standard) AJ/AQ+ (I play AJ but that's me and he had similar stats I think) but I don't really put KQ in there. AA/KK/AK are very unlikely because of the bet/call pre. His min raise looked fishy and looked like he was saying he had the same hand as me, it might be good but not sure. When he called I was suprised I had the best hand. Basically I didn't want to check as it put me in an even worse spot, If he had something stupid like KJ/K10 he MIGHT fold but it was unlikely.
I just thought shoving was better than checking
EDIT: Feel free to say how stupid this is
