Yes, it happens, but I think it's better to play sober. It's just that when you play under alcohol, you often make not very thoughtful decisions and sometimes it's hard to concentrate. Sometimes it happens that some wrong decision can play into your hands, but this rarely happens.

I can drink and play, obviously not too much, when I drink the poker is even more fun so i get more patience to play.

Alcohol is not the best advisor, I'm not saying it hasn't happened to me, but I definitely prefer it without it.

At home games yes, because the goal is to create a fun atmosphere and be social, But in live or online play i don't really drink and play because I'm in there to make money, nothing more than a beer or two.

I like wine and beer while I play late in the afternoon. That being said my biggest loss ever was when I had over drank. So I never do that any more.

Sometimes I drink Jack Daniel's with CocaCola or Pepsi, but I don't drink too much alcohol.
But after hard day it's good to relax.
