Only when playing bottom stakes 40 cent buy in with .02/.04 blinds. Players are so stupid it takes a bit to play at their level ( & I haven't been able to drink that much).

I like to drink couple of beers or whiskey when i play. That makes me calmer when i play but what i noticed, too much alcohol makes me unlucky in poker however even if i don't drink i'm unlucky. Damn!!!

I don't drink alcohol while playing. I don't drink alcohol at all for many years. I prefer tea or coffee. Alcohol is poison, so I don't recommend it

Very rarely I can afford no more than 2 cans of lager. But it happens no more than 2-3 times in a month, and that only in evening poker tournaments. And I haven't drunk any other kind of alcohol (except champagne on New Year) for more than 5-7 years.

I rarely do it. As I play poker just for fun, I don't see any problem in it. Just one or two cans of beer.

My favorite drink while playing is beer. I almost always drink beer during the game, but sometimes, if there is no beer, I have to drink tea.

I do drink when I play poker especially live but most people would be surprised to know what I drink. I tend to drink chocolate milk when I play poker live. The reason why is quite simple it keeps me from getting dehydrated but the milk actually allows you to play longer without getting hungry and the one thing that's very distracting to me is when I get hungry. How to be honest I started doing this probably about 10-12 years ago when I was playing in a tournament at Foxwoods casino. When they came around to ask what people wanted the guy ordered chocolate milk and I ordered the same thing and I'm like can't believe you got any chocolate milk and he told me why he did it and I've been doing it ever since because he was right nothing worse then getting really hungry and distracted when you're playing. Even when playing at the world series of poker in the Rio what was I drinking chocolate milk. Now they give you all the laugh if I'm on the edge of being knocked out or it's turn it's over I like to have a tequila sunrise go figure that one out.

Had some pretty bad tilt sessions in the past when being drunk.

I don't drink when I'm playing poker, I think it would be a big mistake to be able to do so while you have a poker session, there are many other alternatives to maintain concentration in long gaming sessions, sometimes every day is tiring.

I drink beer now and then. Usually on weekends on Saturday and Sunday. But nothing stronger, because I have a rather sad experience. Several times I lost my bankroll while playing drunk and since then I have not made such mistakes.

Yes, I have tried this in live and online poker.
But the result did not change. In the beginning i controlled the situation and my game was excellent, but after drinking more, I became aggressive and without concentration😠😡😵‍💫, so I lost. I believe that alcohol and poker do not mix.
