I'm curious about everyone's habits when it comes to what they drink during a session - Do you prefer sticking strictly to coffee, tea, or water to keep your focus sharp? Or do you enjoy having a beer or a drink to relax while playing?

Personally, I find that alcohol can mess with my decision-making online, so I try to stick to coffee or water to stay locked in. What about you guys? What is your go-to drink while grinding?...

I don't drink anything alcoholic when I'm playing poker. I think that's very wrong. Now I have coffee all day long hahah

When I play poker, I always have a coffee to keep going through long tournaments, and I listen to music too, but I always stay focused on the game.

I only drink water, I already played drinking beer, but it was disastrous hahaha

I generally avoid alcoholic beverages during the session. Coffee and water. (I've always tried, but I've never managed to like tea)

I only drink water while playing; I try to stay hydrated during the session.

Personally, I actually enjoy having a beer while playing, and it doesn't seem to affect my game too much. Sometimes it even helps me relax and enjoy the session more instead of overthinking every decision. Of course, if the situation calls for it, I can still switch into full hero mode and play aggressively when I see the right spot. 🍺😄

I really enjoy playing while drinking beer—it makes me more aggressive. But I'm thinking about quitting; the hangover the next day just isn't worth it anymore. Getting older, you know?

Coffee, tea, water & squash. However, if I am going to be playing a massive long game, say ACR with five hour registrations and the stakes are small, say $11 I may have a beer in the right mood and not multi-tabling. I know play diminishes too much if you indulge too much so try and stop there but for bigger games I do not drink at all.

I hardly ever drink alcohol. While playing, I mostly drink coffee or tea. Sometimes just water, sometimes Pepsi or Coke.

I usually drink water, sometimes a soda or juice, and every now and then I also have tea.

Since I play morning sessions and finish in the late afternoon or evening, I never drink alcohol while playing

I rarely prefer to drink anything while playing poker. I’ll drink whatever; I don’t have a preference.

I usually stick to coffee or water while playing. Alcohol just makes it harder to stay focused and can lead to bad decisions, especially during long sessions.
