I prefer playing live... even if it is just a home game with friends....

I miss the opportunity to get a read on the other players online. Live poker is more complex therefor and I like that.

But online is fun too and although some interesting aspects of a live game are missing it is still a great game and so much more comfortable to play whenever you like from home...

I love everything live;feel of the chips and cards,social aspect,all the casino sounds,and especially the tournaments.Can play 6 days a week 10 hrs a day live but after 4 hrs online I usually had enough.

ok....ill share

i play 2 live texas holdem games a week,and one live stud....let me put it this way...i buy in for 60 on fri nights....texas holdem n/l...then i buy in for 70 on sundays,texas holdem no limit......i mark down on my calender how many times i lose my by-in......ive lost a total of 14 times in 2 and a half years,thats both live cash games combined....so,yea,i do pretty well,lol.....i been playing online for a little over a year,and cant win,i read everyday,i play everyday,all i can say is there is some real idiots who play online,and there is some very good poker players who play online as well,but most 75% at least has no bussiness on a cash table,or a tourny table as well,so,id love to get these idiots on my live cash tables,thats why i joined cc,hopefully to get the field narrowed down,weed out some of the idiots,so i can learn the online game,because one thing for sure,playing online and live is like day and night,thats what ive learned.good luck at the felts baby!

I play mainly online but recently started playing live also with my friends. Live play is much different experience. In some aspects it is much more fun than online. If you are relatively new to the game like me though i find online play much better to learn the game. With all these freerolls available today you can learn much more cheap than by giving money in casinos. One day i hope to become good enough to play in live casino games but till now i will continue mainly online and live with friends at low stakes.

playing live is a big adjustment to online you have to watch your etiquette protect your cards and try not give away tells to the live veterans that is nearly impossible unless all your actions are like Jesus ferguson.

it even can not be compared, playing live is real poker and online it's like pc game, today one player went to all in with a hand of 2.3 and won against 10, 10 is only in online poker posible

I love going to the casino and playing live. I normally go every other week to Mardi gras in WV but my truck is broke down right now and its about 3 hours away from me so maybe in a few weeks I'll get to go back

I unfortunately did not play live, so I can not say what it is, I play only online so far, I would like to try to stay in the living at the table and feel the emotions that are not in online poker, they say very cool.

Honestly, when I'm at a live poker table, I feel the players, I see their intentions, emotions, feel the cards in my hand, I focus better. My opinion is like playing better than online.
