Live poker has more expenses such as getting there and accommodation if over multiple days. But I preferred the atmosphere over online play. Bu then there is angling and got stung in an expensive tournament with a player concealing their cards. Software does not do this although online people can use software to cheat so swings and roundabouts. I think I found online easier than playing an online tournament with 6,000-7,000 players or more.

Online 99% of time, and just 1-2 poker sessions a year. For me that works good

Live poker is good, very good...but..... I don't have possibilities here to play LIVE. that means, I can play only Online at this time. It's ok. I play much less poker now. Years ago I played much, much more hours per week.

I'm from Brazil, and here there's no tradition of playing poker; people don't know how to play poker. My only option is online poker. I'd like to practice and play live.

I have always played online and to be honest, I can't complain about the returns and results.
But I'm in a good emotional, financial and knowledgeable time to go play poker in a casino. I have to face such a challenge and live the experience.
What do you prefer?
How was your first time at the casino?
I prefer online poker because it’s more convenient and I can play more volume. That said, live poker is a completely different experience and definitely worth trying at least once. The pace is slower, there are more physical tells, and the atmosphere can be great. Good luck with your first casino session!

It's obvious that online is better, because of the convenience and because you can play 3-4 tournaments at the same time. I used to go to the casino but it closed down, now there's one 40 minutes away.

Missing live games, haven't played for a while. Online playing has started to feel like a job, need some physical chips and beer!

I, too, have almost always played online, so I fully understand that feeling of wanting to make the leap to the casino. There's something special about live poker that you can't experience behind a screen: the atmosphere, the chips, the conversations at the table and the chance to observe your rivals face to face.

Personally, I like both modalities. Online allows you to play with more hands, learn faster and make better use of your time. However, the casino offers a unique experience and a different challenge, as reading players and emotional control take on much more importance.

My advice is to take advantage of this good moment you are living in and dare to try it. Beyond the economic result, the experience will surely leave you with very valuable memories and lessons. Best of luck on your first adventure at the live tables!

For me, online is where I sharpen my skills, but live is where I get the most enjoyment. There’s nothing like dragging a big pot across the felt in person, it’s a rush that online poker just can’t replicate.

If you had to choose only one, would you play live poker or online poker?
Live poker offers physical tells, table talk, and a great social atmosphere, while online poker lets you play more hands, multiple tables, and is much more convenient.

I'm used to playing online poker, but I also enjoy live poker. I get more of a thrill playing at real poker tables than sitting at my computer or on my phone. :sneaky:

I definitely prefer online poker. It is much more convenient because you can play anytime from the comfort of your home, and you can easily get a lot more hands per hour. Live poker has its own charm, but for building a bankroll and consistency, online is much better for me.

I prefer online poker because it’s easier to play regularly and there are so many game options.
Live poker has its own atmosphere though, especially when you can read people at the table.
For learning and volume, I’d still choose online. ♠️

in live poker i have less patience and i play too fast i think because i dont like waiting when i know already i dont want to bluff or dont want to play the hand after flop for example..
in online poker , i roll a sigarett , drink some , maybe think about a bluff on pozition , and i know better what range players are in some situations shortly i can read better online .

It’s preferable to play online poker — you don’t have to go anywhere; if you have some free time, just sit down and play.

I prefer online poker because it's more convenient and I can play whenever I have free time. I also like being able to multi-table and choose from many tournaments and cash games. Live poker is fun because of the social interaction and physical reads, but online poker suits my schedule and playing style much better.

I’d probably choose online poker most of the time. It’s just more convenient, and I can play whenever I have some free time without having to travel anywhere. I do enjoy live poker though, especially the social side and being able to actually see the players at the table. For me, online is better for regular play, while live is more fun when I want a different experience .Online poker is all about utilizing time to its best because multiple tables can be played simultaneously but live poker vibe is next level

I’d choose online poker if I had to pick just one. The convenience, game selection and ability to play more hands make it hard to beat, although live poker definitely has a better social atmosphere.
