Drunk Poker?

I play tired because the MTT's on ACR have 5 hour late registration. Can't avoid.I never play drunk as alcohol is a hard drug.

When I drink alcohol, I try not to sit down to play poker and you do not advise me it is not just unsettled, I was losing a lot of money!

Never drunk or stoned online, tired though. Getting tired is purely involuntary if you are getting enough rest going in. Then hand for hand play is crazy when you start it several positions out, like 3 on ACR. Where is the damn chop button to suggest to the other players at the finals table a split, not on the sites I've been on, this option should always be available.

Good question makes me want to play less, change my sleeping habits and shoot for larger money tournaments instead of all the free stuff, although some free stuff is quality, smaller fields, registration closing at 2 levels, nice.

I like playing a couple small hypers/turbos when buzzed it is very fun.

Other than that I highly recommend not playing drunk or tired.

Just like me. I never ever play drunk anything but freerolls cause I know playing drunk is really not a good idea. Sometimes I play tired, though.

I have mixed feelings about drinking and playing poker. I never drink whle I'm playing but at the same time, I am always happy to buy a round for the table. I have found it is a good investment towards a winning session. That should tell you something.

I always play bad when tired, I think that’s what makes the wsop main event so amazing the mental attrition that they go through is impressive to watch. Obviously drinking isn’t a good idea, but a low stakes sit n go with the boys, while having a few is always fun

I LOVE playing against drunk people! In fact my favorite time to play live is Fri/Sat night after 10pm when the Poker Room fills up with the drinkers. Poker is a mental game and should not ideally be played with anything that messes with a persons natural perception.

I believe in order to win, you must be sane. And being drunk or tired at the tables is not good, I think that many will agree with me, but if so it is better to do something else ... to watch a movie or go to bed at all.

I tried few times. It goes well. I take my loses better rather then i'm straight. Plus when i won, random hand i am so happy and that joy made you unbeatable

I didnt see nothing wrong in drinking a beer or a glass of wine. But i did drink once 4-5 glasses and i start to become a hero. 5 buyins lost in 25 min.

I never play drunk. Rarely do I drink while playing unless it’s the tail end of a session and I’m going to a show or something at the casino with my wife (who is not often with me while playing but will meet me afterwards), I also seem to profit a great deal off I’d drunk idiots so that was an early tip for me not drink. There’s a time and a place to drink.

1st time at a live cash game I was up a few hundred £. Gave me some crazy courage and I must have gotten carried away as time went by; before I knew it I was all-in with a hand of nothings against quad kings... Lesson learnt is that alcohol makes you feel like an invincible genius, but that is almost definitely not the case...

However don’t see the problem with having a drink and playing, especially if you’re more recreational and are looking to have a good time then it’s a perfect opportunity
