Zach, Is that the spring edition ?

Didn't someone post about it here a couple of pages ago.
Switch said something about playing omaha I believe :).

Started 25nl again yesterday.
Feeling good, playing good, solid, nonspew and all that.
Most of it without any software like huds etc, today last session I had installed hem and ran the hud, still played good so I think my game is actually improving, besides an AA < QQ haven't gotten bad beated imo.

Confidence is back as I don't feel like the universe is screwing me over every hand any more. Break from cash for a week did me good.

Now I'm doomswitching myself obv:

To say that I've been working on my ring game over the last few months would be somewhat of an understatement. I've changed everything at least twice, watched videos, looked at stats and generally done the A-team trapped in the barn thing. Hence my blog silence, which I might break soon. Anyway I've converted the tractor into a tank that fires cabbages and am ready to emerge..

This is the last 35k hands (couple of weeks) during which I think I've finally hit a balance that works. Ran horribly for the first 20k hands but felt great about it as I was playing well. All came together with some decent situations in the last 15k and I think there's more under the hood so to speak.

Don't want to be premature, but very happy about things atm,

30k hands

Guys, I was thinking about this, just sitting here and breathing.

For every breath that you take, someone, somewhere in the world, is breathing their last breath. As in dying.

If you saw like a huge blown up version of a world map with a little light for every person, every single second there would be a little blip on the map, or more than 1 blip. I'd imagine it would be accompanied by a "ding" sound when a person dies.

Yeah thats about it, I just thought its kind of interesting to think about, nothing too deep.

lol.

Does anyone else have a glitch in their HEM graph. It doesn't seem that accurate to me. I pretty much always keep a view on my graph to see how I'm playing (I know I know  ) but recently it's gone a little goofy. Not sure if it's coz I'm playing different sites but, Meh!

Finally! Get to fire up the tables (I had to work late tonight).

Been a good week..I'm feeling pretty good right now, the coaching is helping tremendously.

Got another session with him tomorrow.

Bleh... This is over the last ~1500 hands lol.... go me! Not sure the fold to flop cbet has ever been that low over that number of hands before... it's been kinda surreal.

I haven't been playing much ring lately, but I have had three days in a row with positive results. I think the downswing is finally over.

But I think I'm gonna stick mainly to tourneys now and only play about an hour of ring per day. I ring better, but I feel like I'm better suited tourneys. Plus, I'm just not ready for another near b/r ending downswing.

~68%

I've been getting called and/or raised every.single.time.

It's been a combination of idiots (didn't realize they were idiots at the time) and people hitting a stupid amount of monsters.

I've had two pair called down by king high (as in CALLED down..he never raised) and other really bizarre stuff going on.

Oh and for good measure...I wasn't hitting much of anything either (0 sets, etc... I think i missed the flop with all but one AK)

average winrates at each limit is minus the average rake paid at each limit.

Why did I know you were going to say that?:p

Seriously, this guy was really aggressive but I didn't want to scare him off. I almost stacked him in an earlier hand with top two pr, but he ran when I ch/raised him 3x his bet. That was my reasoning for the min ch/r.

Anyway, finished the day great! $250 in tourney winnings and up ~4 b/is at 10NL.

Jesus FTP 1knl tables juicy as hell tonight. Lost small pot after small pot as I could never flop a pair against the fish. Had KK > AQ AIPF vs. shortstack but other than that couldn't seem to win a hand. Ah well can't really complain this month. Also played a bit with leatherass.

Second hand there can be arguments for check calling or bet folding, but bet calling is spewy.

Also, why are you 20 tabling?

Because I have already beat 10NL over a decent sized sample and I'm just trying to build my roll up so 20 tabling gives me the highest hourly rate.

The more tables you have generally decreases your winrate as far as I know.

My bb/100 is lower yeah, but my $ per hour is higher.
