Have you ever lied to go play poker?

A few years ago I told my girlfriend that I had to spend the night with a friend because I was sad to end a relationship. but we actually traveled an hour to go to a casino to play a poker tournament. I knew she wouldn't let me go or ask me a lot of questions that I didn't want to hear at the time. it was a little lie and it was only once xd

I've been playing poker for over 15 years, but my family doesn't like that I play poker, even though I'm a plus player. So whenever I play poker, I tell my family that I either read the news, watch sports, or do freelance work.

I don't lie, or at least I try not to. I have nothing to hide, and if I want to stay home and spend my time playing in my favourite tournaments, I say so. I just have nothing to hide

I don't think I've ever lied to go play poker, I always say where I'm going, I don't think anyone will be bothered by that, as long as you lead a balanced life.

Yes, many years ago. There were times that my friends invited me to go out, but I prefer to stay home and play poker (only my family and really close friends know I play poker), I used just say that I had something else to do.
