Have you ever lied to go play poker?

The most I lied was that I didn't say that I was playing poker while we chatted. But I wouldn't get to the point where I would lie in order to go play.
For those who think the game is more important than their relationship, don't be surprised if it results a break up.

There were several times when I lied to have time to play. I chose to lie because I know that if I told the truth, there would be a quarrel, and so out of two not very good options, I chose the one that was less harmful in terms of consequences

I’m on my own, so there’s no one I need to lie to—and truthfully, I don’t believe in lying at all

Just once—I said I had 'plans' when really I just needed to chase the fish at the table. No regrets!
