Yes, unfortunately I did it quite often. My girlfriend gets angry when I play longer than one hour, she thinks poker is a waste of time that I could have spent with her. I don't know who is more selfish, but sometimes I have to cheat to avoid conflict.

I personally couldn't stay in a relationship if I had to lie about playing poker- unless I was playing so much I was ignoring my marriage. Then I would need to correct my own bad behavior.

I don't remember ever lying about poker.
All of my exes knew that I played, since that was part of my living back then.
If I played live, anyone who needed to know knew.
If you have to lie, then something is no good there.

I never needed it, because I think that when a woman goes, her partner is usually there too hahahahah. However, I have seen several men going out to talk on the phone with their wives so they wouldn't hear the noise of the chips and the game.

I already lied to my mother that I was going to a friend to play cards and did not tell her to go to a poker room. So she did not know that I was playing for money.

There were times when I told a lie to be able to play. This happened more than once. Sometimes I lied to my family members, sometimes to my friends, and sometimes to my boss.
