How much player should play poker daily with getting exhaust

I’d say 4–6 hours a day is plenty. The key is to stop when you feel mentally exhausted once your decisions start getting worse, it’s time to take a break.

It depends on the player, but for most people, 2–4 hours a day is a healthy balance. Take a 5–10 minute break every hour to stay focused. If you notice your decision-making getting worse, you're feeling frustrated, or you're playing on autopilot, it's time to stop for the day. Quality of play is far more important than the number of hours you put in.

In my case, if I'm doing well in tournaments, I would say 3 to 5 hours, enough to take a good rest, not to get too exhausted.

Honestly 3 to 4 hours max per day if you wanna stay sharp. Anything past that and focus tanks, which leads to dumb punts and tilt. Doing 90-minute or 2-hour sessions with a solid break in between works best for me.

Some players can grind for 10+ hours, while others perform better with shorter sessions and regular breaks.

I think it's a purely personal trait of each player. Some can sit focused for hours, while others start to lose focus and start showing off their C/D game after just two hours.

I completely agree! Quality of decision-making is so much more important than just grinding endless hours. Once mental fatigue and brain fog kick in, it's definitely time to log off rather than risking your bankroll on suboptimal plays.

Facts, I'm seeing alot of 2-3 hours and I'm just like what! Lol
I grind 7+ hours and it work for me

Its like exercise, the more you do, the more you can do.

The optimal amount is whatever amount doesnt disrupt important things in your life.

I play between 6/8 hours a day. I start early in the morning, take a break for lunch and return. I rarely play at night.

Awesome charts, really helpful for grinders🎉

In my opinion, the ideal time to play depends on the format and the poker room, but for online poker I generally prefer evenings and weekends. Traffic is usually higher during these periods, which means more tables and a larger number of recreational players. For MTTs, Sunday is probably the best day because there are usually more tournaments and larger prize pools.

That said, I don’t think there is one perfect time for everyone. It also depends on your own schedule, the limits you play, and the specific player pool. For me, the most important thing is to play when I’m focused and able to make good decisions rather than simply trying to maximize the number of players online.

I think it depends on the person, but for me, 2–3 hours a day is enough. If I start feeling tired or losing focus, I prefer to stop rather than keep playing and make bad decisions. Quality is more important than the number of hours.

That's a smart approach. Getting 3–5 hours of proper rest during tournaments can help you stay focused, recover mentally, and perform consistently.

Happy to play 6-8 hours but depends on the time. If tourneys are starting late into the evening they can be exhasting.

Lovely answers but id always like to add that you should have days off probably, so days without playing as well.

The ideal time for me to play poker is when my mind is rested and capable of maintaining a high level of concentration. Since I play recreationally, I limit my sessions to between 4 and 6 hours a day to avoid physical and mental exhaustion.

For me, the ideal poker time is when I’m relaxed, focused, and ready to play my best game.

I think that will depend on your plan/goal, as well as the time you actually have available for poker, since it changes drastically if it’s a tournament or cash games, for example. Regarding “extremes,” I wouldn’t recommend them; the need for something doesn’t turn a bad strategy into a good one.
