Sure, why not? I didn't start playing poker with money either, but with play money. If the game hadn't convinced me, it would never have come to the point of playing for money.
Of course it's true that playing poker for money has an additional appeal that you don't want to do without anymore!

while playing poker for money is exciting because money is involved and after winning hands and session you feel happy and great but if it wasn't about money i would still go for it because it's so much fun

The money I win is essentially a reflection of my efficiency and productivity. Money is a reward for my skills, experience, patience and luck. I think if poker wasn't a game for money, I just wouldn't play.

I think it would be a good game, though maybe not a spectacular one. The truth is, it's a very important factor, and without money involved, the bets wouldn't carry much weight. I'm not sure if you've ever played with people who play for symbolic chips, it's very difficult for it to be structured. I think the problem would lie in it not being taken as seriously.
