I just made 6 buy-ins in 500 hands. Back in the old days I'd stop playing now and be in love with myself. But NOW that I'm a true grinder, I will play another 4K or so hands. And probably lose it all again.

Also, why is this thread so uncrowded? I want to hear from Zac and Jay and Chuck and Vanqu and...

True grinders also post graphs when they make 6 buy-ins in 500 hands...

BTW Chris, I did that last night, was up $700 in the 1st like 300 hands. After 2000 hands and the end of my session, I was -$17, wtf!!1

Poker can be so brutal. Everything always seems to happen in streaks, I hate that. Why can we not win slowly but steadily without ever going on swings in either direction?

Been ****ing busy lately, not much to say. Only 570 hands this month, including a couple hundred today. Girlfriend, friends visiting for holidays, friends visiting that have been traveling for like a year, finally sit down to play and stars is lagging like crazy, yadda yadda yadda and I'm too busy to play. Great start to a 500k hand year!

Getting right back into it though; gonna play a ton today, getting coached tomorrow for a couple hours, sweating with bw the day after, sweating with fp asap...should get the month going real soon.

Oh, me and the lady friend have decided to get her playing poker

We played some STTs yesterday and I think I'll ship her like 50 to start off at the $1s, and see how she does. Should be interesting.

is vanqu like a bastardization of vanq to make me sound like that lil nit combuboom, who never plays poker because he's scared and cries all day because jaxonville sux? (ive been to jaxonville it sucks :/)

Was 9 tabling the dons and was in good shape to win 7/9.
Then couldn't win a single flip

.

AQ < 66 againt a guy who decided to call off 2.5k of his 3k stack at 300/150+ante blinds with 66..
QJs<A5 btn steal.
And the other table just dwindled my stack down with no cards until i had 1k left at 400/200 and couldnt catch vs 88.

It's so weird blinds we're 400/200 on the 2 last tables and still 8people in. No one ever busted

I solved that when I busted in 7th in both.

Ended 4/9

9 tabling seems very doable tho, should play more later.

Before I got married I had a pretty crazy roommate who was in his early 40s but acted like he was 17. Funny guy though, when we'd see a girl like this he had a few sayings like...

"If there's grass on the field it's time to play ball."

Stuff like that. Anyways I had a great time last night at the tables and got myself in the positive for the month. HUUUUUUUUMBERTO!
