So there was this guy at my table shoving pretty much every hand. I lost one hand that was KQs vs 77 but I won these 2. I would've loved to get in more pots obviously but I was card dead and even when I had an ace or something someone else would beat me into the pot. Oh well can't complain!

Yeah someone was saying that, of course right after he left too I got AK and JJ..Won a stack with the Jacks anyway though :p

Sad thing though this month is I've made about $285 but about $50 of that has come from me grinding 25NL and the rest has come from maniacs. Oh well!

With all the stories of following fish up levels you're not rolled for, wonder if that could be profitable lol. 1knl player goes down and plays some 25nl and hopes he gets buddy-listed and he gets chased up to at least 400nl or so :).

I have same question about red line lol. But as long as the green line's above zero, it's all good :). You should do a video though. I'm supposed to get new laptop in the next 2 weeks, and as soon as I get that set up then I'll do one.

and that's really a mystery when one knows how much respect you get on your cbets, second and third barrels. It takes a lot of hero folds to make up for all that positive NSD.

But as long as the green line's above zero, it's all good :). You should do a video though. I'm supposed to get new laptop in the next 2 weeks, and as soon as I get that set up then I'll do one.

Don't even have a microphone here, and i guess a video without sound would be quite boring. And if I did, i'd probably have to concentrate too much on not sounding too French and my poker would suck.

Anyway, if you want to work on that red line, try this:

UTG+2: $18.50 (18.5 bb)
MP1: $17.10 (17.1 bb)
MP2: $166.20 (166.2 bb)
MP3: $89.55 (89.6 bb)
Hero (CO): $130.15 (130.2 bb)
BTN: $101 (101 bb)
SB: $100.50 (100.5 bb)
BB: $24.50 (24.5 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is CO with K
heart.gif
A
club.gif

3 folds, MP3 raises to $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, 3 folds

Flop: ($8.50) 3
spade.gif
9
heart.gif
6
heart.gif
(2 players)
MP3 bets $8.50, Hero calls $8.50

Turn: ($25.50) 8
diamond.gif
(2 players)
MP3 bets $11, Hero raises to $48, MP3 calls $37

River: ($121.50) J
diamond.gif
(2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets $32, MP3 folds

Results: $121.50 pot ($3 rake)
Hero mucked K
heart.gif
A
club.gif
(high card Ace) and won $118.50 ($58.50 net)

Disclaimer: Didn't check villain's stack size before raising turn. Would look a lot better a bit deeper. Also, villain has a PFR of 7%, cbet 100% and a WTSD of 14%.

If you turned your graph upside down, it would look identical to mine this month :(

What's your WTS and Postflop aggression? Do you barrel every hand? That red line is sick.

i'm at work so don't have HEM here, but i think it's nothing out of the ordinary for a 16/13 at FR. WTS around 25% and aggression around 3, IIRC. I'll check tonight.

I don't barrel every hand, no. Probably most of the difference with you guys is in close river decisions where if either bluffing odds or bluff catching odds have about neutral EV, i'll err on the side of betting for bluff and calling to catch them. In both cases, it favors the red line over the blue one.

Hmm, I play 24/20, aggression factor just under 3, WTS 28%, attempt to steal 40%, and my red line is massively negative.

I'm curious about other 6-max players. What does your red line look like?
Filtering my last 50K hands for NL50+ and between 3-6 players, my red line is pretty much exactly a mirror image of my green line, meaning that if my red line were breakeven, my winrate would be twice as high.

In math terms:
Non-showdown = -0.5 * Showdown (I lose half as much @ NSD as I win @ SD)
Non-showdown = -1.0 * Winrate

I'm specifically curious about Chuck's stats.

Can you define "shite"? What's the relationship between showdown and non-showdown winnings?

Are those stats 6-max? My call vs. 3-bet is 21%, might be a bit too low methinks. Hard to say though. Raise 3-bet is 14%.

i think it's really hard to compare between limits, maybe also between site.

At 100nl FR at FullTilt, I often have most of the players at my tables with 3bet% at 1 or 2%, so i never get to 4bet bluff them and calling is really a set-mining odds problem exclusively in most cases. Only a handful of good enough regs against which it could get fancy preflop.

also whenever I have tried to significantly improve my NSD winnings, it's usually at the expense of my SD winnings.
