I'd bet my life on it: shorter sessions = better results.

I'd actually agree with that. Playing so long has the tendency to fry the brain.

That holds true for me as well. Looking at my most profitable days in my HEM database, I noticed they were almost all less than 3-4 hours.

well almost everybody plays their longest sessions when they're losing/breaking even to try to get unstuck. when you run hot there's probably a psychological fear that luck will turn, and once you reach x amount of profit, it's tempting to want to lock that up for the day. i think it has much more to do with this than the whole "frying your brain playing too long" effect, although depending on the person, that can definitely be a part of it

Alright, so I cashed out around 5k a week ago so that I wouldnt keep tempting myself and losing at 200NL, but i won a ton this last week and cleared a $1500 bonus so my BR is back sitting ~$9000 again. I've been watching all the 200NL stox vids i can get ahold of lately. Maybe I will give it a shot again tomorrow. Tables should be juicy juicy on saturday.

Playing some 25nl FR on Full Tilt. Only like 5 buy-ins but I'm hoping I can run it up to something decent and then I can start table selecting between Stars and Full Tilt at 200nl FR.

People fold too much at 100nl, imo. :D

disclaimer: running hot, significantly above all-in EV. the green and blue line should be a bit lower than that.

Looking into a new bonus.

Cake poker: the usual deal looks to be 33% rakeback + a 100% $500 sing up bonus. Any idea what the best rakeback site is to get it from. There are a couple, bonuswhores offers it and I saw prorakeback too. Is there any site that is better in terms of offering rakeback. Maybe some perks like rakeraces or faster payouts or whatever ?

Also: How can someone who runs 9k under EV still be up 4k at 3/6 and all that in the last 9 days.
This boggles my peanut mind.

Because the EV graph is a tiny portion of your luck in poker. Some of the hottest streaks I've ever had, I've still been below EV. It doesn't account for flopping sets versus overpairs, sets over sets, being dealt aces when someone else is dealt kings, etc. etc. etc. All in all, it's a fairly useless functionality in the tracker softwares.
